Dropped me as patient after years of being one
I was abruptly dropped as a patient, because I couldn't make my way across town to provide a urine sample. It makes zero sense. I don't have transportation and am on disability. I explained that getting there wasn't an easy task (public transportation, $ for Uber), but that didn't matter. I guess I was deemed problematic, all because I don't own a car. If it had been something truly necessary, I would have paid $40 to get there and back, but walking to Interstate 44 in the middle of summer to pee in a cup? It just didn't make sense. They've recently underwent some drastic changes, and I was handed off to a judgmental & condescending NP.

They used to be real nice but now they are so scared they will not allow a companion with you for a Dr visit. At least Cox/ Mercy allows patients to bring a person with them. Looks like I will be switching to Cox next month. They can have this poorly run facility.
