No compassion for patients
Was referred to PHC by a former provider after they left town to practice elsewhere. Saw a provider here a couple of months ago to establish a patient/doctor relationship. Had a family emergency that required me to leave the state for a month. Called PHC a few times to explain the situation so that I could still receive my prescriptions where I’m staying. Each time, they said, “Don’t worry, we can fill your prescriptions”. Just called to get a refill on one of them and now they’re saying that they need to see me prior to filling the prescriptions. I explained the situation to them again and they still refused to fill my prescriptions! To make a long story short, I would not recommend this practice to my worst enemy!
