You'd think a clinic that specializes in working with people with disabilities would at least ATTEMPT to make things welcoming and easier to access for those people. Today not one, but two of their staff, demanded to see my 'letter' for a service dog WHICH IS A THING THAT DOESN'T EXIST. Emotional Service Animals require letters to for verification, Service Dogs have NO SUCH THING. I even explained this TWICE. Why am I explaining the ADA to a clinic that supposedly specializes in working with individuals for whom that law was enacted?? Not to mention it wasn't even my first visit there! I had already been seen there (yes with my service dog).I might have had more patience but there has been absolutely nothing convenient or patient-friendly about the experience --no online platform for scheduling, they 'can't' email, transferred me endlessly back and forth via phone. The whole reason I went to this clinic was to be normal and welcomed as I am. It doesn't even provide that
