Island Musculoskeletal Care, under Dr. Gus Kat, has provided a deeply unsatisfactory experience. My mother, suffering from severe knee pain, was referred by our family doctor. Initially, we were given an appointment three weeks in advance, only to be informed later that the physician scheduled to see her, Giovanni, did not work with Dr. Gus and there was no replacement available. After rescheduling, we faced another delay of two weeks. Then, just four days before the appointment, their office called to inform us that the doctor would not be available and we would need to reschedule once more, with the next available appointment being another two weeks away. This disregard for patient care is evident not only in their scheduling chaos but also in their management of in-office waiting times, which often exceed two hours.Overall, my experience with Island Musculoskeletal Care has been highly unprofessional and has left me doubting their ability to properly treat patients.
