Ortho Plus

I’m a physical therapist. I can’t recommend them enough if you’re needing to see someone ASAP who can take X-rays, can order you an MRI, and or can get you that super expensive brace you’ve been needing that insurance hasn’t approved when other clinicians have tried to get it. You can walk in or schedule an appt. Yes you’ll wait about 15-30 min in the (wonderful) waiting room, but there’s little to no wait for anything once you’re called back. They are so quick and efficient with all their testing, X-rays,and treatment or plan of care. My grandma had spent months trying to get a new knee brace and was told by multiple other clinicians that Medicare denied it twice and that she’d have to pay several hundreds of dollars if she wanted it. I finally convinced her caregiver to make an appt with OrthoPlus. Within 30-45 min of arrival, they’d done for her what previous clinicians couldn’t manage to get done in a year and had her walking out in her brand new, insurance-covered brace.

That they accepted walk ins. I had emailed the office on their website to try and set up an appointment and it was never returned. Walked in on Tuesday and they said they would not be be able to get me in and that I could make an appointment for the next Wednesday, which I did. Showed up early for my appointment on Wednesday and checked in … waited in the lobby for long after my appointment time. Finally went to reception (very friendly) and canceled my appointment. Never saw a doc and never got called back from the lobby. It did not seem busy but it’s difficult to patronize a doctor’s office who feels like their time is more valuable than yours. I’ll find another provider.
