I called to get a new patient appointment scheduled based on a former dr recommendation. The woman I spoke to was very friendly and happy to schedule me. I was giving her my info and told her I have my husband’s military insurance. She said they don’t contract with Tricare. I thanked her anyway and hung up. I proceeded to contact my insurance for a provider list to which this clinic’s doctors were listed as in network providers. So I called the woman back and tried to say there might have been a mistake as they are listed as contracted with my insurance. She put me on hold and “upon further investigation” turns out they are not accepting any new patients. Hmmm so you don’t want to deal with my insurance is what you’re saying because you were happy to take me on as a new patient before sooo? Finding a dr is exhausting; especially while pregnant! To all my military families apparently this place doesn’t support us so find somewhere better to go. Very unfortunate.
