I followed the instructions on the Prompt Care website to “check-in online and wait at home”. When I arrived for my appointment, I was advised that the check in time was when I signed in at the facility. They did not use the online check in. I waited over 2 hours to be seen by someone. Had I been aware of this bait and switch sham with the extended wait time, I would have chosen an alternate facility! I wasted an entire afternoon due to this false program presented in their website. According to the personnel, this ‘wait at home” scheme has not been used for well over a year! I suggest that University Hospital remove this misleading and false information from their website Live up to your name—-PROMPT! (Not)
