Practice

Today would have been my first visit with Dr. Thompson whom I have heard great things about, and was honestly looking forward to meeting. Unfortunately getting past his secretary Aubree to see him today for my scheduled appointment proved to be too difficult. When I attempted to provide proof of insurance utilizing the information I had in my UHC app I was very quickly told that that wouldn't be good enough and was provided with no solutions. I then left as quickly as possible because I was upset and flustered. Admittedly I am behind on current medical care procedures because I have avoided a primary care physician for over a decade so my info could have been lacking. However what I did not expect was to be treated rudely, grilled about a sniffle I had because "We only have one person working the office", and then watch Aubree proceed to provide the same unprofessional and unhelpful "service" to the elderly woman who was behind me in the line and also had specific insurance issues.
