I feel so furious with this office. My son tore his ACL and had surgery. Surgery is expensive along with all the other medical needs after having surgery. The office has threatened me every month to turn my account over to collections. They offered a payment plan of 6 months to pay a ridiculous amount of money. I made payments as I could. Today, after speaking to Lisa, the billing manager, I felt discriminated. She wanted to make mention that it wasn’t fair to Dr. Bothwell that I hadn’t paid my balance and that Dr. Bothwell had staff to pay. The surgery in itself cost almost $80,000 which my insurance paid the majority of. So I was really surprised that Dr. Bothwell needed my $2500 to pay his bills and his staff. When I told Lisa that I would pay the balance she seemed surprised “so you have $$$$ on a card?”. She was surprised that I could pay the amount. It was a big expense and sacrifice to pay the balance all at once, I rather do that than have these people keep calling, threatening
