Lacks communication and follow-up.
High Plains Primary Care did not send a needed prescription in a timely manner (five days) on one occasion. On another occasion, Pharmacy notified them that insurance needed information before they could comply. Dr. Skinner's office was notified of this request by the pharmacy, and again by me on their patient portal. My message was never answered. The final straw was a referral for an MRI was never made. When I inquired after several days, I was told that they were waiting for insurance pre-approval. I called Medicare and was told that they had not been contacted and that pre-approval was never needed for an MRI anyway. I have lost trust in this medical practice and have since changed to another provider.
