Chesapeake Regional Surgical Specialists-VA

My first visit to their office, almost 2 hours after my scheduled appt time, I was rushed through to an improperly sanitized exam table, to meet with a doctor for 15 minutes and receive a surgical appt and be sent on my way. Their surgical packet states that you need to meet with pre-anesthesia 10 days before the appt. When I contacted them at day 7, they said there was issues with my surgical submission, but it was going through. They would contact me later that afternoon or the next day. Nineteen hours before my surgery (and after I began prep) they called to go over my surgical instructions. Some of them included items that I was not to do 48 hours prior to surgery. Ultimately my surgery was canceled due to non communication about my medication. They did not call to reschedule until a full week later, and began the conversation as if I already had an appt set. Scheduling a surgery that will keep you out of work for two weeks and have several weeks of limited duty afterwards is no sm
