He is always attentive and does a great job explaining things and his thought process. He made it easy to get a prescription for a medication that most doctors would not prescribe me despite the medication having worked excellent for me in the past.

Excellent Family Doctor
Dr. Ashabraner is always friendly and very methodical when I have my yearly wellness checkup. I also like that he can explain in plain English what my results mean. He is a five-star doctor.

Initially I liked him but after today not so much. He and his receptionists brushed me and my son off and provided terrible customer service all because they assumed we switched doctor’s due to my son having his last appointment in another office. They don’t listen to what you need because all I was asking for was a note to give to the daycare but no, he had to schedule an appointment so that I could be billed for it. Then they canceled my appointment without informing me due my son seeing another office last week and then instructed them me to me to go to the other doctor. No one in the office would listen to me, no one was helpful, I had to call the office I saw last week for help. So since he assumed we switched doctors he was upset and brushed us off. Well, that is exactly why I WILL change offices now.

Terrible doctor. Was a new patient and only spent 5 minutes with this guy before I walked out of my appointment. Incredibly rude and stated that he did not have time to see me for the reason I was there for. Save yourself time frustration by avoiding this guy.

I did not have a good experience with Dr. Ashabraner and wouldn't recommend him. He doesn't have a good manner with patients and brushes off patient concerns even if it is something that should be looked into. He ignored a serious issue. I had to have my gallbladder removed, but I had to go to another doctor to get the diagnosis. Dr. Ashabraner blew me off and acted like it was all in my head. He might be good for an annual physical, but good luck getting help if you have a serious issue.

This was a very shocking experience: Difficult to connect with during appointment. Did not listen to my heart or lungs (this was a physical). Did not review my past history. Was not open to discussing my concerns. Became angry when I reference my past physician (of 10 years who is now hospitalist physician) and the interpretation of tests. Gave him 3 chances. That's more than enough to decide it wasn't just a bad day.

He became angry when I asked a question that wasn't on his "reason for the visit". He did this at 2 visits and it was humiliating. He spent more time talking about his medical conditions than mine. Maybe that's why it was easy to get an appointment. His staff is wonderful.

Dr Ashabraner lacks compassion when addressing patient's concerns. I presented for a medication check up one month after and while I was there I brought up a small second concern and the doctor said in an aggressive tone, "wow this was just supposed to be a check up for the medicine I prescribed, you are why people get so upset when I run behind schedule." It was so inappropriate and I certainly hope other patients aren't discouraged bringing up their health concerns. I will not be returning.

My husband went to see Dr.Ashbraner for the first time to discuss residual back pain after an injury over 7 months ago. After his examination, He wrote for physical therapy. I was very happy that he didn't first suggest medication. We were looking for a long term fix, not a short term bandaid like a pill. Back pain is an easy complaint to brush off and write medication for, so I was impressed that he actually took the time to listen.

I took my 5 month old to him when she was having some eye movement issues. He did not even have me get her out of her car seat, he didn't even look at her. I brought a video to show him and he rolled his eyes when I wanted to show him what she was doing. Maybe I was being over the top, but that's not how to treat a nervous first time mom. He has terrible bedside manner, is not compassionate, and we have not returned. The only good thing he did is refer us to a great specialist.

He was rude with a terrible attitude and bed side manner. He treated me like I was a drug addict when I ask for pain medicine for my back. He informed me that his schedule would now be running late because I was late. Very unpleasant and very difficult to talk with. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy.

He talked bad about how my old primary care physician practiced and was extremely rude when it came to prescribing medication. He put limitations on picking up a script and treated me like a drug addict when I've been on the same medication for over 13 years.
