Extremely rude and unhelpful
My daughter went to see Dr. Sapp, and had a very terrible experience. He was extremely rude to her the whole time and constantly talked down to her. I would not refer anyone to Dr. Sapp based off his rude and standoffish attitude. Every time my daughter would try to explain what was going on to her, he would interrupt and respond in a condescending tone.

Highly recommend
When reading the reviews for the MU Student Health center, my biggest worry was having my symptoms not being taken seriously- I was having chest pains and horrible anxiety. Dr. Sapp didn’t diminish my worries in any way, and within that 1 visit, I had an EKG done and blood work done- and within that day, we discovered the issue. I was also prescribed some short-term anxiety medication within 24 hours of my visit. I would recommend Dr. Sapp to any student with a fear of going to the doctors.

qualified, but not ideal.
I trust that he knows what he’s doing and he knows his stuff, don’t get me wrong. Very smart guy. But he comes off as rude, uncaring, and even dismissive at times. Rolls his eyes and treats patients like they’re incompetent. Often takes up a condescending tone after explaining health history. Definitely not the doctor for me. I want my healthcare providers to be passionate, understanding, and warm towards their patients. I felt none of the above from him.

One of the best
Dr. Sapp is one of the best doctors in the area. He's been incredibly understanding, caring, and transparent. He IS professionally candid and straightforward, which some may feel intimidated by, but he is always well-intentioned and kind. Dr. Sapp also patiently explains his diagnoses and ensures that YOU also understand so you aren't leaving the office wondering what the problem is still. Incredibly well renowned among my community members and if you're wanting a health provider that is accepting, personable, and competent he's the one for you.
