Absolutely the worst bed side manner that I have had the displeasure to encounter.

Arrogant bully with a personality disorder like Dr. Jeckyl Mr. Hyde I’ve NEVER met a doctor like him he literally could have cared less about giving me a spinal injection for pain relief he wanted to talk about the previous doctors I saw instead of focusing on my mri and pain management.

Has no personality and thinks he's God like. Himself and his nurse in Marianna are both very RUDE. Two appointments for me and I had enough of him. He really needs to check himself because I believe he could be a better person if he opened his eyes to how he really comes off to people and exactly treats people. We're there for help not insults.

Dr Shores is an exceptional physician and just a caring person. I couldn’t be happier with the office experience or the procedure and follow up. If I could give him and his staff 10 stars I would.. I can dance and go to the gym now! Many many thanks!

Dr. Shores listens to his patients. Pain Management requires skill and compassion and he possesses both. Dr. Shores exudes optimism; he puts his patients at ease with his manner and that optimism is transferred to his patients. I was particularly impressed by his knowledge of my personal history. On every visit, he treated me with respect. I recommend him to anyone with pain management issues.

He is very arrogant and rude as soon as he walks in the door. I will never fo back to his office nor will I recommend him to anyone. He was very unprofessional with how he speaks to his patients

The staff was friendly and everyone treated me kindly. Dr. Shores listened to me as though he really cared. He was able to quickly diagnose my spinal problem. I followed the treatment he recommended and within a month or so my back was feeling so much better. I haven't had a recurrence of my severe pain.

He basically said my pain is inconsistent with my diagnosis, apparently osteoarthritis, sub chondral erosion and bone spurs in the hip are not cause for seeking pain management options, even though my other doctor that did the MRI said I should consider a full hip replacement. I have had stomach surgery in the past and he said that I'm not compliant because I'm not following the nutritional guidelines of the surgery I had over 10 years ago, he said I have a mood issue and need a paradigm shift, he said I shouldn't be taking Ibuprofen for pain because I had stomach surgery years ago, so these things make me non compliant and he won't be prescribing me anything for pain. He said there was nothing he could do for me aside from possibly a hip injection which wouldn't be a long term solution. He said my other doctors don't know what to do with me either because I'm exaggerating my pain and need to lose weight. His overall bedside manner is very arrogant and insensitive. Do not recommend.

My elderly mother moved to the area recently. I took her to Dr. Shores. In a nutshell, he didn't agree with the two previous doctors prescriptions/treatments. In addition to "doing no harm," you would think a professional would say what he would suggest. Apparently, five minutes was too long to answer questions. He wouldn't say what treatment he suggested. Instead, he finished by saying "we're done here." So we were supposed to immediately, with no question, accept his opinions about the previous doctors? If he had a treatment suggestion, we'll never know. It's respectable to not prescribe the same medications if he didn't believe they were appropriate. But not to say what he would do, even though the appointment was paid, is NOT respectable. Arrogance and good care do not go together. By reading other reviews he believes that anyone that wants him to justify his treatment plan is an "addict."

Dr. Shores & the entire staff were friendly . caring & answered all questions. They were a bit behind & told me that up front. Would highly recommend Dr. Shores. I just had my first injection & hoping it helps .

Dr Shores has helped me more in one year than my previous doctor did in five years! He is very caring and listens to you. The nurses are very caring and doesn’t treat you like a druggie trying to get a fix. They try to manage your pain and get you a permanent solution.

I posted a review a couple of weeks ago. This is just an update. To prove they ONLY care about the money. I ran out of my medicine I take for pain. I went for my visit and was sent to the hospital and asked for a refill. They did not call it in because as they said " they didn't see me " I gave a urine test and the only thing they didn't do is to go into an exam room and take my BP and count my pills. Since I went to a different doctor. They say they didn't see me, but had no problem keeping my co-pay. So if you like being treated like a third class citizen and give your money ?? away, Dr. Shores is the place to go

This is a sad and pathetic representation of the medical community...Condescending, snarky, and rushed. Get ready to feel like an imposition and a problem. Go somewhere else and save yourself the waste of time....

He is an excellent doctor who takes time to talk to you and explained to me what is going to happen in a way I understand. He makes sure I understand. He has fixed my back problem. I haven't felt this goodnin years. No one else seem to help. His staff is also outstanding, very friendly.

I am a new patient to Dr Shores. So far, I am beyond happy with my care. I have LOTS of things going on and he ordered a completely new set of tests, not just taking my word for it or throwing some pills at me and sending me on my way. I won’t EVER go to another Dr like THAT again! When all my results came in, he sat with me and he patiently went over them and we developed a plan of care. We’re goin to tackle on thing at a time. He said, Im not going to tell you I can completely take away your pain, but I’ll do everything I can to make your life as comfortable as possible. Can’t ask for better than that!! I expect to have a long lasting dr/patient relationship. And I would recommend him very highly.

I went to see Dr. Shores for back pain. He listened to me and examined me, then made some recommendations. After a couple weeks of following his plan, I was feeling so much better. I was able to exercise again and get back to my normal routine. I always take the negative reviews you see on these websites with a grain of salt. Seems like it's mostly people who need a place to complain and know that the doctors can't tell their side of the story because of patient privacy. The people who have a good experience aren't always so quick to write a review. I had a great experience with Dr. Shores and his staff. I recommend his office if you need pain management.
