Dr. Aaron Ward, MD

Dr. Ward is overseeing my father’s the inpatient hospice care. He is very, very kind, considerate and knowledgeable. We feel fortunate to have him and be aligned on a graceful care plan for my father.

I was an inpatient. He was the Hospitalist. I see a cardiologist for Congestive Heart Failure and AFib, both diagnosed. I also have asthma. While being treated for both, Dr Ward enters my room,then advised me I am faking it. He claimed he pulled up records to prove it! Records proving it don't exist! Either my doctors misdiagnosed me, my daily meds are not y needed, or Dr Ward is way off! We then proceeded to exchange words with me asking him to leave! ( I do apologize for my rudeness). About a year later my daughter was in the same hospital with Ward as her Hospitalist. She has severe periods resulting in severe anemia. She is 30 and not ready for a hysterectomy. She takes iron daily but still has to be admitted for iron infusions about twice a year. He advised her, curtly,that without a hysterectomy,she will eventually have a heart attack! Avoid seeing Dr Ward if you can!

I found Dr. Ward to be professional, competent, considerae, personable. Most important is Dr. Ward listens, questions, explains, cares, and has your health as his first concern. He doesn't rush you, and on the rare occasion I've had to wait, I know someone else is receiving the same quality of time/care. I highly recommend Dr. Ward.
