Dr. Abdo Bachoura, MD

First of all he was suggested to me when I called the institute. I read many of his reviews and every one of them is on point. I first met with him and he checked out the thumb and joint issue. We talked for quite sometime after looking at the X-rays. He was very professional, compassionate and took into consideration of my lifestyle. There was no rushing to push me for surgery. This was appreciated. However, a few weeks later I came back to sign consent papers for surgery. I decided that living with the constant pain and being out of activities every few weeks was just stalling the inevitable. But instead of just signing the consent forms, he wanted to speak with me to be sure this is what I wanted. Again, he spent quite an of bit of time talking about the Surgery and recovery. This means a lot to me, and I have had my share of athletic injuries. Dr. Bochoura is a sensitive Dr and he cares. I would highly recommend him. My surgery will be soon and I expect to be in good hands.

He is a very knowledgeable and listens to what is going on. Finally found a doctor that gives true facts and not guess what is wrong. Highly recommend to visit and experience a real doctor for once.

Dr. BachouraIs an awesome Dr he took his time in my visits after a few visits to get the best plan suitable for my wrist . I had tenosynvitist to my right wrist after surgery never hurt again! The staff is also awesome.Thank you

I am an avid knitter and quilter so my fine motor skills are extremely important to me. I fractured my thumb and tore a ligament in my hand. Dr. Bachoura and his entire staff made me feel very comfortable and heard. They take a very personal interest in you, your injury and your recovery. Their surgery center and staff are beyond fabulous.

I appreciated his expertise, his calm, but personal demeanor, his frank helpful explanations, and overall patient care. Would highly recommend.

He is extremely professional and compassionate with a gentle approach to things. I had seen several Drs who completely missed problems because they didn't run decent tests. I had multiple fragments in my wrist joints and required bone alignment as well. Dr. Bachoura put it all back in place with precision alignment.

What a great doctor. I had a wrist fracture that was not properly fixed by Dr. Hawks. I had to get my hardware removal again because it was damaging my ligaments. This was diagnosed by Dr. Bachoura and one of the experts in Advent health imaging who confirmed the diagnosis by performing an ultrasound for almost an hour. (Dr. Felix Gonzalez and his assistant) Dr. Bachoura removed the hardware and I no longer have pain I wish he was the one who performed my surgery the first time and not Dr. Hawks. Thank you, Doc.

Dr. Bachoura put my badly broken wrist back together. He explained everything. His knowledge, skill and mannerisms are superb! I trust him completely. He is compassionate and really watched over me even coming to PT to check on my progress many times. He is the best doctor.

Dr.B is an amazing doctor. He performed my fractured finger surgery about 2 weeks ago. With this being my 1st surgery ever in life he made me feel so comfortable. He takes the time to care and answer any questions. He also is very punctual and knowledgeable. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr Abdo Bachoura is not only an incredible surgeon but a very caring and thoughtful individual as well. He fit me into his schedule immediately. I didn't have to wait. Though I was frightened about my impending surgery on my shattered wrist, he was clear about options and possible consequences which helped make my decisions easier. He gave me confidence moving forward and I totally trusted him. After my surgery Dr. Bachoura was very encouraging with every stage of my recovery. Dr. Bachoura found the problem with my arm that 2 other orthopedic could not. 9 months after my accident I can finally have use of my arm! I have never seen a doctor so sincere, honest, and caring.

I actually found Dr Bachoura by accident but I am glad I did. I fell on a Tuesday and went to the emergency room on Wednesday morning with pain in my right wrist. They x-rayed it and found a wrist fracture, put it in a splint and told me to see an Orthopaedic surgeon. The Orthopaedic Institute was on my way home from the emergency room and I decided to stop there to see if I could get an appointment. Dr Bachoura came out while I was trying to get the appointment and said he would see me when he finished with his current patient. I was very surprised. I did not have to wait very long at all and left there with a cast and an appointment to come back in two weeks. He has a very pleasant "bedside manner" and is very easy to talk with. I highly recommend him.

I chose Dr. Bachoura at the Orthopedic Institute for treating my broken wrist. I was assigned an appointment within five days. Dr. Bachoura rescheduled my appointment to be seen on the same day. He wanted to evaluate my fracture sooner since that would facilitate treatment options.
