Your trust is our top concern.

We strive to keep reviews honest, trustworthy, and fair.

Doctors can not pay for good reviews, nor can they pay to have negative reviews removed.

We monitor all reviews to ensure they comply with our guidelines and don’t include personal information, profanity, libel, defamation, harassment, obscenity or fraud.

Any reviews that are deemed fraudulent or violate our guidelines will be removed immediately.

All reviews are confirmed and audited before publication, and community members have the ability to flag inappropriate content for further review by our team.

I trust him.
Dr Kahn listens to my concerns and is understanding. I’ve no complaints. I feel like if you’re reading reviews online for a mental health care provider, keep in mind that they were written by people usually not at their best. You know? People struggle and medical professionals can only help you as much as you allow them to. Some patients are difficult.

Dr. Khan himself is very friendly and kind. I never felt rushed or like he didn't care. However, his practice has the absolute WORST receptionist I've ever dealt with. She will tell you she'll talk to him or the NP and call you back, but then she never will. She's told me numerous times she'd leave them a message to call me back, but they never do. Knowing the MD/NP, they would call me back if they had ever received my message. If she doesn't like you, she won't answer your calls. I've called a couple of times, left messages, etc, but as soon as I used a different number, she'd suddenly answer. She ignores texts to the facility cell phone, she never follows up when she says she will, and she's beyond negligent. Getting my medications refilled was a huge nightmare. And the icing on the cake? She gave me the wrong Zoom link for an appointment and then counted it against me. Service is NOT friendly to those who have depression/ADHD and miss appointments.

Rushes every appointment, rude and disrespectful. I had test results from another doctor that he refused to look at and consequently had me taking the wrong medication with awful side effects. Choose another doctor. Dr khan should not be practicing

I met Dr Khan at Oceans Baton Rouge. In 5 minutes of speaking to me, he told me he was sending me to get tests done on my memory. He said I would return to therapy after the tests. I asked him to inform my family about the visit but he did not. Instead he sent me to an inpatient psychiatric hospital in Gretna (PEC). I spent 3 days in a small room at the BR General ER. They would not let me use my walker for ambulation. I have cerebral palsy and I cannot walk without assistance. The ER would not allow me to see my family. I was so scared. It was an awful experience at the ER and then at the hospital. I was picked up by a New Orleans taxi service. When I asked the driver where I was going, she said "hell". That place would not let me walk with my walker, I feel Dr Khan should have asked my family about my history and why I was seeking his help in the first place. I was not in any way harmful to myself or others. I just needed help with some depression/anxiety and bullying due to my CP.

After so many unsuccessful years of trying to find a psychiatrist who truly has my best interest at heart, I finally can say I found one who does such. Dr. Khan is such a thorough Doctor, who involves a holistic style approach to treating the underlying issues of any mental illness thrown his way. I will continue to be under Dr. Khan's care for the rest of my days!
