Great doctor- fails to change w/time (technology)
Dr. Khan is a wonderful doctor. She is one who will spend more than an hour with you during your appointment. With this being said, her appointments tend to run 1.5 hours to 2 or more hours behind. It can be challenging to get an appointment with her. She is very old-school in her medical handling which can be a good thing. The drawback to the old school way is that she has not adopted the use of modern technology into her practice. The office does not have an email or patient portal for electronic records sharing. There are only two staff members (who are very nice), but the volume of patients and limited staffing makes it challenging to request information and services. Dr. Khan uses a fax machine for document sharing and/or you will be required to snail mail medical documents or physically drive to the office to drop off documents. I have been a long-time patient of Dr. Khan's. I have enjoyed having her as my doctor. But the antiquated ways of doing business are not good.

I really believe that if I had not went to Dr. Khan when I did I would be dead. I went to her after I was suffering from severe medical concerns that I knew weren't right but I didn't know what was going on medically. I was experiencing severe abdominal pain, chronic ear infections and migraines. Dr. Khan took me off of 1/2 of my medications and sent me to specialists to find out what was going on. I feel 100% medically thanks to her. She takes time to listen, cares and treat you medically

Personally i really like Abeda khan . She is a very good doctor but i am extremely unhappy with her receptionist. Today when i called to schedule an appoitment because i was having severe cough and asthma. She said she cant schedule me till next week. I insisted if she can schedule me for tomorrow, she replied i can go to patients first but there's nothing she can do. I have been going to Abeda khan for many years now. The receptionist should have been considerate. Extremely unhappy.
