Shockingly unprofessional
Ignoring all of my symptoms and my own knowledge and experience of my own body- he (without any sort of exam) diagnosed me with herpes because I had uti symptoms but no infection. I have history of bladder pain/kidney infections. I have no history of herpes. He ignored my thoughts and concerns and made light of it all. I know my body & don’t go to the doctor unless necessary. He also joked about “don’t tell HR I showed you these photos” when he showed me pictures of herpes. I declined to have a vaginal exam with him choosing to instead make an appointment with my gynecologist. There are many other causes and reasons for bladder/urethra pain, so for him to tell me that the only answer is herpes and the only way for him confirm was to exam my genitals was shocking. I went into urgent for help with bladder pain, thinking I had a UTI and left with no help. (Also my portal chart was wrong after the visit, he denied me having a history of UTIs. He seriously re-wrote my reality.

Just wanted to say how fond I am of Dr. Andrews and the care that I’ve been given from him. I think he’s a very fine doctor. And a gentleman.

I came in with health concerns. He reassured me it was nothing to worry about and didn't work me up for it. I ended up in urgent care a few days later with worsening symptoms and a diagnosis of what I was originally concerned about. He was nice, but dismissive about a lot of my concerns.
