Dr. Adam Ball Urologist In Port St. Lucie, Florida lacks Respect & Professionalism When It Comes To Dealing With And Answering His Patient's Questions. Further The Patient Has A Right To Know Why The Doctor Orders Certain Radiologic Tests And Dr. Ball Has A Very Short Temper And Takes An Offense When You Ask Him Questions About Those Test. His Practice Of Using Hormone Shots To Treat Prostate Cancer Patients Is Unbelievable, Insofar, As He Does Not Follow The Medical Billing Guidelines Of Medicare For This Cancer Hormone Therapy In His Office By Following The Same Guidelines As Medicare States To Physicians Whenever A Claim Is Submitted On A Patient For Payment. The Doctor makes the Patient Pay In advance for Hormone Drug plus CoPay, When Medicare States Dr. Ball should submit Bill for Drugs & Office visit under Medicare Part B, leaving Patient not responsible to pay any cost. This leaves Dr. Ball In an Ackward situation, especially when Patient finds out they have just been SCAMMED and have been Forced To Pay $1,000 to $1,500 CoPay In Advance of Treatment. BUYER BEWARE!

Highly recommended doctor
Having suffered with what was diagnosed as an over active bladder for over a decade I switched to Dr. Ball from a previous urologist. After several visits he decided to order several tests to see why I wasn’t responding to treatments. The CAT scan identified another issue, unrelated to the bladder. It was an unidentified slow developing cancer. If I hadn’t switched to Dr. Ball the cancer would have been so much more advanced. I am so glad Dr. Ball had the foresight to order the scan that has given me a chance to continue my life.

Good Call!
As a new comer to the area, I needed to find a few 'Specialist Doctor's', which I relied heavily on my new Primary Care Physician for, & reminding her that I would like 'The Best for The Best'. Of 2 Urologists suggested I chose Dr. Ball, and at our first meeting and the interactions with his staff, all I must say is, Good Call! From the initial call of making the appt., to arriving for my appt., his office was nothing but professional, patient, warm speaking, and respectful. The office was Clean & Orderly, along with the exam room that I was taken to, as were the other rooms that we passed, as I was taken through the office(I Looked).I arrived 15 min. before my first visit, as requested. Reviewed the paperwork that I had prefilled out with the receptionist, and was called in within minutes. Once in the exam room I waited no time at all for the Dr.Although he spoke fast, he was very patient & thorough reviewing my history, answering my questions & providing a game plan going forward.

Family almost died because of Adam Ball
If I could give zero stars, I would. Dr. Adam Ball performed a routine prostate biopsy on an immediate family member of mine. As a result of insufficient pre- and post-operative care instructions and lack of bedside manner provided by Dr. Ball and his staff, my family member was found collapsed in his home and hospitalized 24 hours after this surgery as a result of infection that could have been avoided. Buyer beware.

Positive Experience
I have been going to Dr. Ball for several years. My last visit was October 13, 2023. I was able to get an appointment in a timely manner. The office staff, especially Christina, was very kind and helpful. Dr. Ball took his time with me, answered my questions and accurately figured out my medical issue and helped refer me the specialist I needed to see. I would recommend Dr. Ball.

Visit with Dr. Ball
So very happy I found Dr. Ball. He has an excellent educational and medical background. He actually listened to all I had to tell him and he devised a plan of action that was thoroughly explained. I have moved up from south Florida and was having difficulty navigating healthcare in this area. I am thrilled that I found him. The office staff is friendly, kind and very attentive. Dr. Ball is very caring and genuine.

Dr. Ball has been awesome in treating my kidney stones. I was having severe kidney stone attacks from late Friday to Monday. I called Dr. Ball on Monday, got a Tuesday appointment, had a CT and rads on Wednesday, and on Thursday I was in surgery having a ureteroscopy and lithotripsy. Unbelievable service and caring. I am now able to sleep without pain. Cannot recommend Dr. Ball highly enough. The best!

Comfortable office with friendly and professional staff who made the visit run smoothly. Dr. Ball was very abrupt but knowledgeable and appeared sure of the diagnosis almost immediately. He referred my husband to The Mayo Clinic because there were no doctors in the state who could help him. Dr Ball then proceeded to schedule three tests in his office where he did not even speak to my husband only the medical assistants after which he very rudely insisted we go to the Mayo Clinic and refused to impart information or answer questions. Having just come from a second opinion where a cd of a test was available (that Dr Ball ordered) we found that the diagnosis was not accurate and instead of surgery there were pharmaceutical options. Based on the above I would suggest someone looking for a urologist look somewhere else.

Was very nasty to my wife. After we made an appointment with another urologist we got a nasty inarticulate letter. Even that had misspellings. I would not rate him very highly. Oh, by the way he shotgunned my wife’s issues and never solved her problems.
