Update on my last Review
Since my very first review as a new patient, I have now been seeing Dr. Cerel for 4 years, so this is an update. Dr. Cerel is a very busy Dr., and still is very patient, caring and kind. I have no problem with his office staff and nurses. They are very pleasant to me and efficient. Dr. Cerel has gone out of way, even when he’s busy, when I needed to see him, outside of my regular appmt. He has the experience, education and disposition to make you feel at ease. I do have confidence in him. Some doctors are not good with people in general, but Dr. Cerel is. Yes, I would recommend him to others.

Front-desk is rude and disrespectful. They refused to talk to my insurance, kept shouting at me and did not let me talk and answer a question. Wait times are ridiculous.

Excellent Doctor. Rude and controlling person at d
Dr. Cerel has been my late husband and my doctor since 2015. He is awesome, kind, he listens, and is an excellent cardiologist. You just can't find a better cardiologist. A month ago Dr. Cerel prescribed 2 new medications for me to help with secondary problemsI have with my multiple heart problems. The meds are working very well. I was told to give him an update. Last week I called Dr. Cerel's office to get a refill on one of them. The front desk person (Shannon) cross-examined me about the new medication and ultimately refused to forward the refill request. I requested Dr. Cerel call me to discuss this. He didn't. The next day my son called and tangled with the same woman over the refill request. She refused again. My son requested Dr. Cerel call him to discuss. Dr. Cerel has't returned the call. Now, I know Dr. Cerel returns calls because we have discussed issues before. Is Dr. Cerel getting all his phone messages? I didn't know a front desk person can over-rule a physician.

Horrible front-desk service. My dad's medications simply can't be sent to the pharmacy, despite innumerous calls speaking with the secretary Shannon T., who is rude and sarcastic. It's been weeks waiting for this list. My dad has been without his daily medications. We tell them that we are very concerned with his health (after two recent heart attacks that they are very aware of) but they really don't care fort heir patients.

Just started seeing Dr Cerel, very good doctor. He is kind and personable, and has the experience. He found out right away what my heart problem was, and is taking good care of me. Listens well and makes me comfortable, he goes out of his way to address any problems I have. I have no problem with him so far, his pts all seem to have a high regard for him, as a Dr and as a person.

Dr. Cerel is an extremely knowledgeable Dr. He diagnosed my mother's unusual condition 10 years ago and recommended a very effective treatment. Although he's always busy with so many patients, he always takes the time to answer any and as many questions as you have to ask him. He genuinely cares about his patients as individuals. He relates to us at a personal level. Although we have moved to a farther town we still see him annually. Without any reservations, I highly recommend Dr. Cerel.
