Dr. Adam Horvit, MD

The office was great and accommodating. Dr Horvit thororoughly explained the test and what to expect.

This doctor is very arrogant and dismissive. I ended up finding another neurologist who is much more knowledgeable about my condition, who is compassionate and most importantly able to give me a correct diagnosis, and treatment for my condition, that this doctor was not willing or able to do.

This practice is the worst I have ever been to. I have been trying for over a month get my paper work over to their referral doctor for carpal tunnel. I have spoken to Horvit’s MA more than three times who keeps telling me she has sent the paper work. Every time I call to check she ask have they called –no. On the fourth call she gave me their number and asks me to call. I tried and sat on hold for more than 10 minutes – no answer. Called MA back. Asked a second time for another referral. I keep getting the same response – this is who we refer to. Said she would call back. More than 24 hours has gone by and no return call. I asked her to please let Horvit know how his referral treats potential clients. Never got a response. Life is to short for this nonsence.

He's been my Neurologist for 15 years and has been extremely helpful in my care. As in any relationship time helps and though I don't get there as often as I would like, when I do see him I am always happy and feel Doctored on a physical and emotional level. I 100 percent believe that he values me as a patient and as a person. To me there is no better combination. Sue Cryer

I accompanied my companion, a person with ALS to her appointments with Dr. Adam Horvit. He was visibly disturbed by my participation, mocking me into silence when I questioned his opinion (“Is your name Dr. Google? DOCTOR Google, is it? I just want to be sure, now... is it DOCTOR Google?) When I referenced the opinion of the clinic’s own speech pathologist, Dr. Horvit mocked her too, saying, “She doesn’t know anything”. Dr. Horvit impressed me as a doctor who lacks empathy for the patient.

NO! Find another Dr! This man is unprofessional, doesn't listen, and doesn't have an ounce of compassion. He couldn't even open my MRI DVD. Got angry. I have verbal problems, and studder. He asked a question, and I was trying to get the words out. When I was having problems he started to badger me. Repeated the question over n over. Didn't allow me the time to speak. Yelled at me. I flipped out and started crying. I cannot even believe this man is a Doctor.

Dr. Horvit listened to all of my concerns and again at the end of the appointment checked to make sure that I felt that had all of my questions answered and liked our plan moving forward. Dr. Horvit had excellent bedside manner, and I asked lots of questions, and he kindly answered them all. I also felt confident in his knowledge of treating me. The medical assistant was also very friendly, as well as the two staff members who I met at the front desk.

This Dr is so unprofessional and very fake it is unreal. I've been to plenty of doctors and this is the first one that made me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome to his practice. I'm even delaying my care to find a better bed side manner of care Dr. Save yourself time, respect and money. Run to a much better Dr that isnt so weird! And I even toldl him he was acting WEIRD ! No justice for You

I do not provide this review lightly. This was my third or fourth visit with this physician. During my last visit I spent a significant amount of time completing the paperwork. Dr. Horvit never even looked at what I had written about my symptoms and history. Dr. Horvit was condescending when I expressed my concerns.

Always listens to you. Doesn't make you feel rushed. Genuine concern for your wellbeing. I've never had to make an urgent appointment. So I skipped that question. Because Dr. Horvit is thorough & listens to you each visit, you may have to wait a little bit.
