ALMOST HAD AN UNNECESSARY AMPUTATION
Dr. Korayem almost performed an unnecessary amputation of my toe and misinterpreted the sonogram by informing me that I had blood clots in my leg. He appeared indifferent when asked if I can be admitted to be administered IV antibiotics. He informed me that the ER room was full and that it would be a while before they would admit me thus increasing my chances for a worsening infection and result in the amputation of my toe. Dr. Korayem was initially courteous. However, he appears to become annoyed and dismissive when you ask questions about a concern or procedure. Thankfully, I was able to obtain a second opinion and they informed me that I did not have blood clots or that an amputation was necessary. I would be very careful and wary of this doctor. This caused us emotional stress.
