A gifted Brilliant and Modest Doctor in that order
A fantastic supportive dedicated team working flawlessly together. You must do your part like being on time and completing the paperwork since this is a small office working hard with the many patients that come and go.. My personal issue was continuing to loosing weight and my two other diabetic doctors and my clinical pharmocologyist thought hey you look great and on all the wrong medications. Dr. Lyco took one look and diagnosed me with additional tests to confirm . Iv gained back 30 pounds and now stable at a fixed healthy weight with the excellent guidelines of Libby Hugo our diatican. I call her Dr. Libby as a result of her hard work and profound impact.Thankyou for all that you doAnd I hope I can help just one person as a result of reviewing these commentsIt takes a village as they say and I feel blessed. ThankyouMark F

Makes me sad
I'm disappointed that I could not get another Continuous Glucose Monitor perscription--Ali said it's because I moved out of state and haven't been seen since before the pandemic. I don't need to be seen, I just need a new perscription! I don't know if anyone even asked Dr. Lyko. Now, I'll have to start all over again. :-(

Office staff is friendly and helpful. Wait time, including that in the lobby is brief, before you see the doctor. Disabled parking is excellently located at the front door, and office staff helps you with opening door when needed. The doctor has helped me with getting my diabetes in control.

Dr. Lyko is kind, caring and thorough. He communicated with my insurance company and Byram my medical supply company to solve a serious problem with my insulin pump. He truly cares about his patients.

Dr. Lyko is amazing!!! I am a very emotional, tearful patient and his bedside manner was fantastic. Dr. Lyko was very kind but also straightforward. He listened and really thought about what I had to say. I was tested for a multitude of issues and it felt great to finally have a doctor listen to my concerns and run the proper tests! Also, his new office in Post Falls is very small (not busy and hectic) and his office staff are very friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Lyko.

Dr Lyko found a pituitary tumor in 2012 and insisted it was insignificant despite high cortisol levels. He would not test it. He continued to treat all my symptoms as thyroid related. A new GP tested for cushings in 2017. By the time Lyko diagnosed me my tumor was 8mm, I had severe osteoporosis, diabetes, heart damage and cognitive decline. Then he was in a hurry for surgery. 5 years of misery and deterioration could have been avoided.

Dr. Lyko's office staff could use help in the caring and courtesy department. Their air of superiority is not acceptable. The medical assistant, Carrie, acts like you are an annoyance whenever she is asked a question; like you are a complete waste of her "precious" time because she has more important tasks to do then to speak with you. If I can find another Dr to see I certainly will. I am not impressed with Dr Lyko either with his unwillingness to actually "listen" to what his patients tell him

I like Dr Lyko. He's kind hearted and competent. However, if you're looking for a friendly, caring, welcoming atmosphere this in not the practice for you! No one seems happy here. I feel like an inconvenience and think they've forgotten patients pay their salaries! They appear to have forgotten patient care begins at the front desk by treating people with dignity, kindness and respect. Dr Lyko's MA is flat out rude and seems to think she's an MD. She oversteps her bounds and educational level.
