Post-surgery review of partial knee replacement
Dr. Sassoon is an incredibly skilled surgeon. Everything about my surgery went just as he predicted, and the upfront information I was provided was profoundly thorough and most helpful. My mobility and range of motion are coming along just as Dr. Sassoon explained. One unexpected result has been the healing of the incision and minimal scarring! Although I wasn't expecting any particular cosmetic outcome, the barely visible hairline scar -- after just 4 weeks post-surgery -- is another great outcome. I highly recommend Dr. Sassoon, and as you may know, many orthopedic surgeons are not skilled in the partial knee replacement; Dr. Sassoon does many of these, and it shows in the outcomes of the surgery.

Wonderful Surgeon
We had a very positive experience with Dr. Sassoon and the resident, Dr. Walker, who cared for my elderly mother after a femur fracture from a fall. Dr. Sassoon is dual trained in trauma and joint reconstruction, which was exactly what she needed. Because this wasn't elective surgery and surgery was needed soon after the fall, my mother was assigned as Dr. Sassoon's patient which felt very serendipitous. We were a little concerned after reading some of the other reviews, but another doctor we trust told us very positive things about Dr. Sassoon and we are happy he did the surgery. Even though we expressed our concerns based on the reviews, Dr. Sassoon always had my mother's best interests in mind. The surgery went very well. He is very caring and he and/or Dr. Walker visited us daily in the hospital, patiently answering all of our questions. We hope never to need Dr. Sassoon again, but definitely would recommend him. My mother thinks her surgery went so well due to his great skills.

I think Dr. Sassoon is great. He is very direct, looked me right in the eye (which means a lot to me because it means he's listening) and explained everything that he would be doing clearly and honestly. He answered my questions, was kind and understanding and didn't act like he was in a hurry and had somewhere else to be. When I was in the hospital for a week, he said he would come see me everyday and he did! He is a wonderful human being and I'm glad that he's my surgeon. Recommend him? YES.

Dr . Sassoon writes “treats each patient with respect to their individual needs and goals”. This is hogwash. He doesn’t listen to your concerns. He only hears himself talk. He has a dour personality: stern, unsmiling, unfriendly, severe, forbidding, gruff, surly, grim, sullen, solemn, austere, stony. He is not interested in your history and will not accommodate your needs
