Dr. Adam Sharp, MD

I am writing this review years after my experience with Dr Adam Sharp. I went to St. Vincent on W. 86th St., Indianapolis, IN. I had been experiencing horrible pain in my back on the right side and bilateral leg and feet numbness. I also had grayish coloring on the soles of my feet. I had been in the ER for the same symptoms a day or two prior. I went back to the ER and Dr. Sharp asked me what’s wrong and when I told him. His statement to me was, in all my years of working I’ve never had anyone tell me almost Word for Word what’s wrong, he was referring to the day or two prior when I was in the ER. He stated you have positive pedal pulses so whatever you think is wrong with you is not. I was so SHOCKED at his RUDE and DEMEANING response, I wanted to walk the heck out but didn’t because I was in such agony. I wanted an X-ray or MRI which he refused. I asked him to write a script for an MRI, which he hesitantly wrote. Turns out I had massive spinal tumor.

I have had kidney stones for 40 years. I usually just push through the pain and use the oral pain meds and muddle through. Occasionally after passing several at a time I need help with injections for pain and nausea. On 11/30 I went to St Vincent Fishers and saw dr Adam Sharp. He said my stones were "highly unlikely" and he was so rude and condescending that I got dressed and left. He should never be allowed to deal with patients again. He needs a refresher in common decency and how to treat us
