Unfortunately, Dr.Zafar runs the most unprofessional psychiatric office I have ever dealt with. Strategic Mental Health. I am beyond frustrated at the incompetence of the office and staff. I have had TWO appointments scheduled with Brian Lazarro over Theralink in the last two weeks, one on Sunday at 9:40 am and the previous on June 3rd at noon. I spoke to Daniel at the Scottsdale office after the first appointment on June 3rd did not take place. There was no e-mail from them like their normally is and when logging on it said there was no appointment. Daniel said that there was a problem with Theralink. I was now out of medication. He said there was nothing I could do but leave a message for Mary and try to get a refill request and make another appointment. The only availability he had was for Sunday, I made the appointment and he assured me that it was made and I would not have any problems. Mary never seems to return calls or e-mails and can't do a refill anyway, useless.

If you want a good psychiatrist check the yellow pages, BUT if you want a great and the best psychiatrist go to Dr. Zafar. He is the first psychiatrist that got my medications totally right for me. It didn’t take him long to correct all my medications and get me off of all the wrong ones. He’s a Doctor Who listens and I truly believe he is in his calling in life. HE’S THE BEST IN HIS FIELD. **********

Dr. Zafar is by far the best psychiatrist in Arizona. I've been going to him for 5 or 6 years now and he has been nothing but wonderful. He listens to what I have to say and is very easy to talk to. I actually look forward to my appointments with him and would definitely recommend him.
