I have been a patient of Dr. Nukuna's for a few years. I am very surprised to read such negatives reviews, because they seem to refer to another person completely. She has always been extremely caring, friendly, professional and thorough. I have had pleasant conversations with her that put me at ease during the appointments. She has followed up on a concern that I had, making me feel heard and valued as a person and as a patient. I hope people will give her a chance because she truly deserves it. Great doctor and practice.

Horrible experience. It's her way or the highway; my opinions did not seem to matter to Dr. Nukuna. She refused to answer basic questions by giving me generic statements. I was in tears after every visit and high anxiety before every visit. She didn't even check on me and my baby even though we had to stay in the hospital for 3 days after delivery. I could hear her at the nurse's station laughing and carrying on though! She has a bad attitude if you don't do everything she says to. I only saw her happy once and that's because I complied. If you want a textbook regurgitated at you instead of years worth of experience, then by all means, go see Dr. Nukuna. If you want a doctor that actually cares about you, your opinions, your time and your baby, go elsewhere.

Felt super rushed and uncomfortable. I am a new patient as I just moved to the area, and I thought she would take the time to get to know me, as most providers do when they had a new patient. However this was not the case and she made me feel very uncomfortable and unimportant. I also felt quite patronized.

She recommended a procedure which was banned within 6 months for causing cancer to spread. I got a second opinion and had a very different procedure and am now cancer free after almost 5 years. She never seemed to acknowledge that her initial opinion was wrong, and seemed to take credit for my going for a second opinion. I simply don't trust her opinion.

Dr. Nukuna is a GREAT OB/GYN. I trust her fully. She takes time to actually talk to you, and helps you understand exactly what is going on.

I liked Dr. Nukuna very much. However, after calling me to urge me to schedule an ultrasound, which I did. She ordered bloodwork and a CT Scan. She and no one on the staff called with the results of either. I, therefore, don't feel Dr. Nukuna realizes my family's and my concern.
