Dr. Adeola Jolayemi, MD

She refuses to allow patients to describe what they’re experiencing fully. Instead, she cuts you off and minimizes the symptoms that you were able to tell her about. If you ask her to listen to what more you want to tell her, she’s pretty much already closed off to hearing it and won’t allow herself to process new information from you. She works at Urgent Care but acts like all issues that people show up with are too small for her attention. If she wants more serious cases, she should be moved to an emergency room. She can’t help but make you feel small and like you’re wasting her time. I went in to discuss a specific health issue and when she wouldn’t listen to me, I tried to finish describing what I was feeling — she instead tried to divert attention from what I came for and asked me if I’m just being anxious about my health as if I was making it up. If you have other options for a physician, take them! She would only end up disappointing you or worse misdiagnosing you.

Without a doubt, from my experience, any review below 5 stars has to be the fault of the patient Her mind is quick. Medical knowledge up to date & accurate She is empathetic and has superb 'bedside manner' She is knowledge across medical specialties, decisive and fights for her patients Dr. Jolayemi, without a doubt, is kaiser permante's 'best kept secret' I wish she were one of my team at kaiser

She added other symptoms to my chart that I clearly did not say. The time frame was way off. No script was sent to the pharmacy , but I did get a referral after I said I will speak with my pcp. I was rushed through the appointment.

said i was too fat for crohns and dismissed my family’s genetics, didn’t want to test me and said i was young and scared rather than experiencing symptoms. i was having diarrhea and vomiting all day, told her i was dehydrated and she said No! you don’t seem tired enough. pressured me into CT scan while also saying it was unnecessary, they couldn’t get the contrast into me bc of how dehydrated i am. gave me a colonoscopy and GI consult referral but didn’t send the info to them so over a year later i now have rectal bleeding and no follow up. Wild goose chase over a dismissive doctor.

Dr. Jolayemi is an exceptional physician. She has excellent bedside manners; she is a very thorough doctor! Friendly! Very knowledgeable! She took her time to go through my mom’s medical history, labs and recommended the appropriate tests to be performed to make the right diagnosis and proper treatment. She also did a thorough physical exam on her. And she had some words of wisdom to share at the end of the consultation. I will definitely be recommending her. Thank you very much doctor!

She doesn’t know how to treat patients and hardly listen or answering questions.????? nurse seems way nicer then her.

She was very condescending and clearly in a rush. Not helpful at all.
