Dr. Aditi Gupta, MD

I had an awful experience with Dr. Gupta. To start, I waited for her to get my pain under control and give me a diagnoses so we could get to the underlying issues. Dr. Gupta seemed uninterested and distracted, barely making eye contact. I felt rushed, like she was just trying to get through the assessment as quickly as possible. She brushed off my concerns and gave me vague answers, leaving me more confused, after telling me my seizure's, convulsions were a psychological condition and I needed therapy.Dr. Gupta’s bedside manner was terrible—she was dismissive, condescending, and outright rude when I asked questions about my treatment. I left the hospital feeling disrespected and uncared for, as if my health and time meant nothing.In addition, the nursing staff was phenomenal and deserve better leadership as they move into future endeavors in the medical field.I would not recommend Dr. Gupta to anyone. If you’re looking for a diagnosis for your symptoms, unless it’s a common cold.

Gupta recently was the attending physician while I was at Medical City Plano. She might have showed up in my room for a total of 10 minutes in the 5 days I was there. She had a pitiful bedside manner and communicates very, very poorly with her patients. She even came up with the wrong diagnosis. I would not recommend her in any way whatsoever. I would give her a -10 if that were possible.
