EXEMPLARY NEUROLOGIST

Every time, Dr. Mahmood takes the time to listen to what my issues are. He then forms a plan of treatment or testing to figure out what the issue is. He thoroughly discusses the necessity for each test and asks if I have any questions.I highly recommend Dr. Mahmood to anyone needing a dedicated, knowledgeable, caring and understanding Neurologist.Dr. Mahmood will NOT disappoint you.It has been my pleasure to write this review regarding Dr. Adnan Mahmood.

This Guy Rocks. And, He Knows Everything
I don't get the negative reviews I've seen here. Those folk must have been having a bad day when they wrote them. I found Dr. Mahmood stellar. I had been experiencing some weird tremors and he thoroughly checked me over and totally put me at ease--the cause, he said, likely due to the BP meds I take, as well as one for bladder control. He saw that I had an upcoming cardiology appt in the same medical building and said he would forward his notes and advised I have a work up there, to be sure it isn't anything going on with my heart. Good doc. You can't go wrong.

Get a second opinion
When the results came back with Alzheimer’s I was shocked. I didn’t know what to say. I was surprised that Dr. Mahmood would not have told me himself. This is a life changing event and should be given by the doctor. The PA said I would have about 2 years before it would show its self. There was no handout or any information to tell you want you need to do. She gave me a script for memory. No explanation on my summary visit portal other than the diagnosis. I left the office and cried in my car. I feel fine and don’t have any problems with my memory yet. I realize it takes time but the way I was told was disappointing.

I'm not sure the office phone is working because it just keeps ringing and you're on hold for half an hour at a time hoping someone picks up. Sometimes there is an error in the call forwarding and it doesn't even let you sit on hold. If you can actually talk to someone they usually helpful and when you get in the experience is good. But you can't even leave a message for someone to call you back. Get an answering machine or someone to answer the phone

I think Dr. Mahmood is amazing! I’ve been seeing him for 3 years now, he’s the best neurologist I’ve had. I appreciate the time he spends answering questions and explaining things. I leave the office knowing that I’m in the right hands.

After my very first visit I felt the need to share my experiences to perhaps help others navigate towards someone that they too, can place their faith in. He spent a substantial amount of time asking and ANSWERING -all questions. He LISTENED to my complaints, went over previous test results, and formed a "plan of attack". Very respectful, polite, and knowledgeable in his field. I'm so thankful for the referral to his office, and very excited to be moving forward to a better, healthier life!!

Dr. Mahmood and his office never called for a follow-up when all of my test results. When I finally got an appointment he spent 3 minutes with me. He reiterated what the previous doctor had said and told me there was nothing he could do for my rapid decline in cognitive abilities. Horrible doctor. Save your money and talk to a wall.

Had an "episode" at his office...he told me I was having a panic attack...One sided tremors, difficulty speaking.. I have since been diagnosed with a seizure disorder that is supported by tests he said I shouldn't bother doing because (in his opinion) they wouldn't show anything. He insisted it was a panic attack...My husband took a video of this "panic attack"...Several doctors (including my oncologist, GP, another neurologist and a therapist) all agreed this was NOT a panic attack...Stay away!

I really hate to give this review, but the staff SUCKS! I've called them day after day regarding a very serious issue, but getting anyone to call back is just about impossible! This isn't the first time it's happened either, it's EVERY SINGLE TIME! I really like the Dr, he took a great deal of time with us because it's not a very common health issue, but the lack of the staff doing THEIR JOB is worth going somewhere else, especially when it's people's LIVES on the line here! Come on already...
