Great experience
After reading some of these reviews, I feel like I didn’t see the same Dr.!I had a wonderful experience with Dr Feng. He performed an absolutely painless cystoscopy on me and explained everything to me.I felt he was professional and communicative. He was kind and I really found him to be fun to talk with. He put me totally at ease.

Shady Billing Practices
Paid for a consultation and received a verbal approximation of cost. Apparently, it was 5x's the amount I was quoted 8/29. Mind you, I got the procedure 12/13 which gave them ample time to disclose the real amount. When questioned why I was never told or given a written estimate if the cost changed; I was told they called me 12/12 the day before the procedure to tell me but were unable to reach me. No message or anything left. My check-in document stated I just needed a $125 co-pay.......$2900 later; they just charge your card on file and they are done......BE SURE TO GET IT IN WRITING so they don't scam you too

Very Frustrating Experience at every encounter
I had the misfortune to be referred to Dr Feng ending up with a surgical procedure this week. The office staff was rude, unhelpful and almost hostile toward the patients. After several visits/tests he recommended a surgical procedure. He gave me the card for his scheduler and said call when ready. It took dozens of phone calls, emails and escalations and over six weeks just to get a call back. Another five weeks wait to get on the surgery schedule. At every appointment I was told I might need a catheter after this procedure for two days. On day of surgery I'm told they will call to schedule cath removal and of course they are booked up and need to keep for two additional, medically unnecessary days. Scheduling within this practice never easy. Dr Feng is not patient friendly and extremely unresponsive in my experience. They failed to meet the expectations they set at every stage of engagement.

Poor bedside manner
Dr. Feng didn’t touch me or ask me how I was. After he was sure I didn’t have stones until I told him I had done testing to confirm. He told me about the options which was perfectly fine, dismissed my questions of solving the issue with the stone naturally and was poor at communication with my scheduling of a procedure, giving incorrect information to my other doctors. Would not recommend.

Not respectful of patients' time
Waited for 1 hr 15 minutes past appointment time to be seen with no information or explanation of reason for the long wait. When asked was told, "Dr. is seeing other patients." Dr. finally came in, did a quick exam and seemed to have not reviewed the record. He asked why the biopsy was not done but forgot that we addressed this with him previously. He had to go out again to get results of urine sample test, leaving us again waiting while we could hear him meeting with yet another patient in another room before coming back into our room. This practice seems to be overbooking appointments with no regard for patient's time. This is very unacceptable.

Not only was I impressed with Dr. Feng's knowledge, reassuring demeanor, and professionalism, he has a wonderful sense of humor and puts his patients at ease. No one wants to visit a urologist and he makes the process and procedures fast and relatively painless. His staff, in particular, Mia, are also kind, helpful, and reassuring. Highly recommend.

How was my experience? NIGHTMARE!!!!! Run from this clown, don't walk. I ended up in the emergency room the night after Feng {I refuse to call him a Dr.} had done a turp procedure for me. I was in serious pain. Good news was the Staff at Good Sam told me Feng was in the hospital. Never came to see me even though he was aware I was there. It gets even worse. When he determined that I needed the turp, I specifically Asked him should do a biopsy as my psa was elevated. No need to put me thru that, he was certain I did not have cancer-WRONG. My Gleason score turned out to be 7. I had to wait six months for the turp to heal before I could have my prostate removed. By the time I had healed and had the prostatectomy my Gleason score was NINE. By the way he obviously did not do the surgery

Today was my first appointment with Dr Feng, and it was not a great experience. I will be seeking a new provider. I did not have any problems with the office staff at Banner. They were are all pleasant and informative. Unfortunately, Dr Feng did not listen- in fact, he spoke over me at least 3 times during our <10 minute appointment. I have x-rays showing a stone, and I told him it was causing pain. He talked over me to tell me that it could be musculoskeletal. I have a history of stones over the past 25 years, so I’m familiar with the difference. He was rude, dismissive, and made all suggestions based on a KUB x-ray. He said he disagreed with the radiologists measurement of the stone, but did not want any further imaging. No CT, and he didn’t even order a urine collect to rule out a kidney infection as the source of pain. He may be skilled in the OR, but his arrogance and unwillingness to actually discuss possibilities and treatment options leave me profoundly disappointed.

I see mixed reviews here, I must agree the Osborn office staff can be a pretty unorganized. One visit I waited 45 minutes in the room to finally flag down the doctor in the hallway, he had no idea I was even there, they had misplaced my file and I had to reschedule. The phone answering system is a mess, I just hang up and call back until I reach the right office / person. This was unfortunate. As for Dr Feng himself he is straight forward, to the point. I don't need to be coddled but could see this as a personality fault to some. He did answer all my questions and I trust him as an active surveillance patient for simple tests, biopsies and advice. If something major changes I would probably get a second opinion, and go from there, but I see no reason not to proceed with him.

Made a telemedicine Zoom meeting during COVID weeks in advance, had my history faxed and day of meeting invalid Zoom meeting! Turns out Dr. Feng was out all week and nobody called/message/emailed to tell me. They said the number they called the day before the meeting was a wrong number but they read back my correct number. I’ll never get to meet Dr. Feng and probably a good thing after reading these reviews.

I was referred to Dr Feng by my Dr. Worst system I have ever experience. Recording prompts to leave basic info and they will call back by the end of the day. That didn't happen. Left another message the next day. Finally returned my call back at 3:40, but I was unable to answer. They requested I call them back. So I called back only to get the same recording. If this isn't some sort of sign to avoid this place, than I don't know what is.

Dr Feng did a lithotripsy on my husband and nicked his kidney. This caused pain with sent him back to the hospital. He suffered from a large hematoma which left him hospitalized for a week. He then had to go to a nursing home for 3 weeks to get strong enough to come home. The hospital records showed he turned up the machine higher then it is supposed to be.

Dr. Feng is unprofessional. He speaks very fast and does not listen to his patient's concerns. He does not take time to assess the culprit of the patient's symptoms. I would never recommend him to anyone!

This is a review of the DOCTOR, not the office's efficiency. Dr. Feng performed robotic surgery to remove my prostate. Since coming home my recovery has been called 'amazing' by numerous friends. I've had very little pain, was able to return the opioid prescription to Walgreens untouched, am walking a mile a day, and after four days was using no pain meds whatsoever, not even OTC drugs. Also making progress regaining continence. I attribute all to Dr. Feng's skill as a surgeon. RECOMMEND!
