Very grateful to have him as my neurologist
He is a very intelligent and attentive doctor who truly listens. He takes the time to explain his assessment and plan, fully answering any questions you have.Since being diagnosed with MS five years ago, I have had three neurologists. The first effectively treated my disease but barely spoke to me. The second only communicated when he was sarcastically dismissing my worsening symptoms. Dr. Abokhamis has been the neurologist I always needed, and I am so happy to finally have a doctor who can help me navigate this disease.

Doesn’t call patients back or make appointments when they’re in urgent need of follow up care after hospitalization. Was put on a waiting list for weeks (as an existing patient) and offered no guidance when the Life threatening problem was not resolved. A life threatening condition and he couldn’t care less. Ended up going to Tufts and they were appalled by the lack of care from this physician. I would agree. Appalling indeed. I would NOT recommend this physician or practice, if you care about yourself or your loved one.
