Good doctor

I have been a patient of Dr. Khan for years. He is caring and easy to talk to, and doesn't push me to take more meds, or meds I don't want to take. He helped me find the right combination which has helped me stay stable for a long time. He is an excellent psychiatrist.

He didn’t listen to my concerns, told me no one would be able to help me. On top of that he made me feel like i was wrong for wanting help. He’s not someone you should trust with your mental health, if you can go to anyone else please do you will save a lot of your time and anguish.

Dr.Khan has been my doctor for over 8 years now and his expertise, caring and going above his job to help his patients is the reason when he moved his location from 3 miles from my home to well over 40 miles away, without hesitation I followed him to the Columbia location! He is a very understand and caring doctor I highly recommend his practice

I have been seeing Dr. Khan now for over 5 years. He has been very great. I have reached my goal of staying out of the hospital. He is very knowledgeable and attentive. I would recommend him for psychiatric care.

Dr. Khan has changed my life. I've been seeing him four years now and he has been able to keep my medications stable for the past four years. He is responsive when you call needing help between appointments. Regarding what others have said, he does keep a tight schedule. I would say his style is more medication management. If you're looking for someone to hold your hand and dry your tears, he's not your doctor. If you're looking for someone to provide relief, he is your doctor.

Do not trust this doctor with your care. I finally got on a comfortable dose that was working exceptionally well for me and out of nowhere he cut me down 4 mgs a day. Do not trust this guy or go to him. He does not and will not care about your individual needs as a patient. More gutwrenching is that he was more concerned that I called him a liar (which I didn't) then me. I questioned his charts and his hand written records but I never called him a liar. Please stay away from this doctor he is only out to take your money and not whats in your best interest to live a decent drug free life. My next step will be to contact the board and a lawyer and sue him for damages.

Not only did Dr. Khan prescribe a medication that made me catatonic during the day, but he also acted like it was bizarre I was feeling this way. Went for a follow up appointment and he triple booked his time, causing a massive amount of confusion and disruption in his waiting room (where I'm currently writing this). He then acted like we were the ones with the problem, and must have gotten the time wrong. We'll be seeing someone with more skill next time. Buyer beware, this guy doesn't care.

I've been seeing this doctor for almost 3 years. I'd seen over a dozen psychiatrists before him over a 2 decade period and it's SUCH a relief to find a calm, observant, efficient & thorough doctor who really cares about his patients! It's not easy to find psychiatrists who aren't condescending. Dr. Khan is thorough, kind & really listens to my concerns. I always recommend him! I have no idea why his rating is so low - maybe all the happy people never thought of writing a review!!!

He doesn't listen, doesn't express empathy, and punishes clients who don't agree with/question him. He did not address my primary reason for seeing him.
