Your trust is our top concern.

We strive to keep reviews honest, trustworthy, and fair.

Doctors can not pay for good reviews, nor can they pay to have negative reviews removed.

We monitor all reviews to ensure they comply with our guidelines and don’t include personal information, profanity, libel, defamation, harassment, obscenity or fraud.

Any reviews that are deemed fraudulent or violate our guidelines will be removed immediately.

All reviews are confirmed and audited before publication, and community members have the ability to flag inappropriate content for further review by our team.

I met Dr Sbei in 2016 while in the hospital. Doctors said my recovery was a miracle. He has been my doctor ever since. He’s impressive. Always listening, concerned, respectful and kind. I found him to be the same with other patients that I have been around. If he seems to be Stern - he is not - he’s putting all he has into figuring out how to help you the best. I have not been asked to give a review nor have I excepted funds for it. I say this because some professionals are purchasing reviews for higher ratings. Give him a chance to care for you. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

poorly run office
We took my 87 year old mother on referral, to get results from an MRI. She has dementia, and uses a walker. She had a 10 am appointment and we were on time. They made her wait more than an hour and a half to see Dr. Sbei. My mother said she was unimpressed with him, and will not see him again.

love the doctor not his staff
i was seeing Dr. sbei for years, he has helped me many many times and got my seizures under control, his staff and the entire up front workers all need to be fired and replaced with people that actually seem to care. If you can get past the front desk workers attitudes and actually get back to see him, he is worth it

I called to have my dad’s prescriptions refilled and they never called them in. My dad went all weekend without needed medications for his Parkinson’s disease. He fell multiple times over the weekend and had to be rushed to the hospital with the last fall. I’m not sure if the cause was because he didn’t have his medication that he needed, if it was, shame on them. Shame on them anyways!

My wife has had MS for 30 years. Yesterday we brought her into the emergency room at Ascension to get a steroid treatment. This is a very common treatment. We are now going on 26 hours without this doctor prescribing her much needed steroids. It has been 10 hours since the MRI and he has not seen my wife today. He has ordered all the tests that you can possibly imagine. The most disturbing test was a physical therapist wanted her to walk. We said no because she couldn’t walk. We know he hasn’t ordered the steroid treatment because he sees hundreds of patients a day for 5 minute appointments. At least that was our experience several years ago when we went to him. Now the most disturbing point that I want to make is this, when he first came into the emergency room to see my wife, he handed her a business card an said you need to see me after your treatment. I am retired and have worked with a lot of business people. This doctor is more concerned about his pocket book than your health!!!

Do not trust this "doctor". He steps into medical specialties he is not trained for, schedules useless tests and will cause a a worse confused mental state. He is a rude, unprofessional charlatan.

I liked Dr. Sbei however, his time is not well spent. You wait at least an hour before you ever get in the exam room and then you wait another hour for him and at times only to find out he isn't even in the building yet -RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. My time is just as valuable as his. Also, if you have any type of a balance, you are called up front by the receptionist and questioned as to rather you are going to pay the full balance or what. Number one - none of the receptionists business, number two, if they have a question regarding your bill then they should bring you back to their billing dept and ask the question as everyone in the waiting room hears all about eveyones balance and payment issues. NOT cool. Again UNPROFESSIONAL. Fired him when I waited 2.5 hours only to find out he wasn't even there and then his staff told me if I left, they would charge me for a no show appointment.

The office staff leaves a lot to be desired. Get appointment mix ups more than twice. No call backs when talking to staff after calling to make inquiry about problems with medication and test results that were never received. Dr. Sbei didn’t spent much time talking to us. Performed memory test on my mom. Gave me directions andLeft me to complete it with her rather than doing it himself. I’m not impressed. Changed doctors.

The understaffed office got my mom’s prescriptions incorrect on more than one occasion. Once they doubled the dosage her sleep medication and had her assisted living personnel not caught it she more than likely would have overdosed! When I called to get it straightened out they told me to just cut it in half. I reminded them mom lived where someone else dispersed her meds and that they needed the change to come from them or not get it at all but still ended up going there a week later after several over the phone attempts before getting it straightened out. This week a gal tried to give me an older prescription and I had to remind her her meds went through a service. Dr. Sbei saw what happened and took it, with a reprimand. He reassured me she would get the correct one and I found out that they sent the wrong one and my mom had been given the wrong strength meds for a day and a half. 3 strikes, we are out of there!!!

His lousy charting caused the judge to rule against me in my SSDI case! I am sorry that I ever went to him. Would give him a zero if I could! Do not go here if you have a serious condition!
