Amazing Doctor
I had a stroke on February,2023. Dr E performed a thrombectomy on me and he and his team saved my life. It is a testament to his skill as a neurointerventionalist that I recovered and am living my best life today. We went to Bedford Hospital first but were transported to Lynchburg in the nick of time. Dr E and his team were waiting for me and he retrieved the clot from my brain on the first pass within minutes of my arrival. I had a complete recovery and did not need physical, speech or occupational therapy afterwards. We are so blessed that Centra is certified for its leading advancement in stroke care and can surgically remove blood clots from the brain. My clot was too large for the clot busting drug to work. I recovered quickly after a few days in the excellent neuro icu where I benefitted from the best care.Dr. E is not only an incredible surgeon but he is a genuinely caring, person and has a very wonderful bedside manner.
