the worst--Dr. Aijaz Ahmed, MD was curt, incorrect, uninformative, rushed, arrogant and wrong. thank god i went to a second doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr Ahmed’s since 2008. In such a large facility as Stanford I have found the Dr. Ahmed and his staff to be caring and competent. Dr. Ahmed has a on outreach program where he travels to the central coast to see patients. This enables people are unable to make the trip to Stanford receive his expert care. Thank you Dr Ahmed. Dr. Ahmed , and his staff, are the best. They all listen carefully and treat me with respect. He knows the liver so well, he could probably transplant one blindfolded. They all fought the insurance company, like bulldogs, to get me the approval for the expensive medications I needed. They cured me of a disease that was ruining my liver. It took me awhile to find Dr. Ahmed because at first I had trouble finding someone who was knowledgeable and competent. I'm really lucky to have found him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ahmed since 2004. He has always been friendly, courteous and understanding. Listens to my questions and has my best interest at heart. Explains medical reports thoroughly. You need to ask questions if you don't understand something, and write things down if you don't think you can remember. The best Dr. i have ever had, by far.
