Dr. Aileen Takahashi, MD

Dr. Takahashi took on my very difficult bariatric surgery revision! She really is the best in her field. I had a sleevectomy that was a major stricture. She corrected it and converted it to the Rouen Y Bypass and I can now enjoy food and drinks with no pain! Dr. Takahashi is the absolutely very best in her field. I trust my life with her.

Had my bypass a couple months ago with Dr. Takahashi, she was phenomenal throughout the process, no bs, straight to the point which I love! I’ve seen others complain about “rudeness” but I did not experience that at all. I have had no complications at all, and everything is going great! I have been Dr. Takahashi's patient since 2016. She is a very professional surgeon. She supervised by pre-bariatric surgery requirements for about six months. It's a very efficient program. She performed three different surgeries on me at one time: bariatric gastric bypass, hiatal hernia repair and gall bladder removal. I have not had one problem with either of the three procedures and my recovery was quite a bit easier than I thought it would be. Dr. Takahashi and her staff are the best and I have absolutely nothing negative to say about her, her staff, or any aspect of her business. If I ever need surgery again, I really hope that she is still practicing. I trust her completely. May 24, 2021.

Dr. Takahashi is very thorough and takes time to explain everything. She makes sure I understand my results and treatment options. Her appointments are never rushed. She is outstanding!

Dr Takahashi was the emergency room doctor assigned to my surgery for acute appendicitis. She didn’t have much time to review the CT scan and other medical information prior to making a decision but I am glad she decided to do laparoscopic surgery. I ended up with just several small incisions in my abdomen which after several weeks were not even visible. I was back doing normal things after about a week and was off all pain pills five days after the operation. After the operation Dr Takahashi came to my hospital room not to just look at my charts but stayed for a few minutes to ask me questions on how I was feeling, discussing with me what would be a good release date, and answered any questions I had. I rate her bedside manner as excellent, being cheerful and personable. I consider myself fortunate that Dr Takahashi was on my team the day I ended up in ER with a burst appendix.

Dr. Takahashi has been my surgeon now over the past 6 years and 4 procedures, a Gallbaldder removal, the Gastric Band, then I switched that out to the Sleeve, then finally did what I should have done from the very beginning (which was Dr. Takahashi's recommendation) the Gastric Bypass. Along the way, removal of hernias and by far, THE BEST in taking care of me, concern for me and I would not want to have any other surgeon working on ME!. Thank you so much Dr. T !

After 9 months of testing, consultations, and other preparations, Dr. Takahashi performed my gastric by-pass surgery. She has been with me every step of the way. She is easy to talk to, extremely knowledgeable and an excellent surgeon. The surgery is only the first step to a new lifestyle which admittedly, is a daily challenge. The surgery was a Godsend for me and I am so thankful that Dr. Takahashi was/has been there for me. I highly recommend this fine doctor.

I recently had an excellent outcome with Dr. Takahashi on a minor reparative surgery. At the outset she took the time to explain the options, recommended procedure, and set reasonable expectations in unambiguous terms and concepts. Her style is calming yet direct, promoting relaxed patient communications. Her office team was very engaging both on the phone and each visit. Likewise the operating room staff and anesthesiologist were extremely professional, putting me at ease during the procedure.
