ER visit with MD that cares
Dr. Hearne listened and answered my questions. She's an ER doctor so I didn’t expect the warm and fuzzy visit I would have with my PCP. She was very respectful and efficient.

What’s the movie….”Nope.”
Horrible bedside manner, disrespectful on many levels, assessment must have been on timer bc she didn’t have time to straighten my clothing she disturbed while barking commands instead of explanations. She didn’t explain anything, state plan or what was next. This is a JOKE! Now wonder people walk out of here. Thank you Dr for reinforcing my thoughts of NOT GOING to the ER!

Unprofessional
We recently had a horrible experience with this doctor that left me and my mom feeling frustrated and unheard. I rushed my mom to the emergency room due to her health issue. Once we were finally seen by the doctor, I felt like we were just another case to get through rather than a patient needing genuine help. The doctor barely introduced herself and immediately started firing off questions without allowing me to fully explain mom's symptoms. It felt like our concerns were brushed aside, and we were left with more questions than answers. When I asked for clarification about the treatment plan, the doctor responded with impatience, making me feel silly for wanting to understand what was happening to my mom. Instead of reassurance, we left the ER feeling more anxious & confused. She did not even give her medicine to help my mom. My experience with this doctor was deeply unsatisfactory. I felt rushed, disrespected, and ultimately let down by a system that should prioritize patient care!

Horrible bedside manner
She was not friendly at all, she kept making my mother feel like everything she did was her fault as to why her nose wouldn’t stop bleeding. Her beside manner is horrible and she shows no empathy for patients. She speaks to you as if you are dumb. She comes off as arrogant and I’m not confident with her diagnosis. She seems unsure herself.

ER Visit
I never go to the ER because I hate waiting and the doctors typically don’t listen. This was by far the best visit I have had with the ER. I recently went to the ER and Dr. Hearne was my doctor. She was extremely helpful and polite. She was very honest and open with my options for care. She listened to what I had to say and gave me an honest medical opinion. Sometimes the truth hurts but I’m glad she was there to help.

Not Impressed
Extremely poor bedside manner. Spoke to me as little as possible. Seemed unconfident about the treatment she was about to give me. Not reassuring at all in a critical time of need.

Helpful and empathetic
I usually don’t leave reviews but I felt I had to after the great care I received from Dr. Hearne. I get really nervous dealing with doctors but she was able to get me to relax and took care of medical needs without me going into panic mode.

Dr. Hearne has a very poor bedside manner and I found her attitude to be quite arrogant. She may hear what the patient is saying; however, her listening skills could use a few lessons. My daughter is chronically ill and has to go to the ER more than we care to. It makes a really big difference when you can get an ER doctor to really listen to what you are saying without judgement of the patient, especially if it is your very first encounter with any patient. A small amount of empathy goes a very long way with a patient who is ill. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

Dr. Hearne is an excellent practitioner. On my recent emergency visit, she listened carefully, asked questions, and exhausted all avenues to diagnose and treat me. She did not beat around the bush or confuse me with a lot of medical jargon. I saw that Dr. Hearne was a resident and I was impressed with her maturity and professionalism. I would recommend her to anyone because of her thoroughness.

Dr. Hearne had poor bedside manner with my sick child. As a first time mother facing a new situation, there was very little reassurance from her and very poor communication. I felt the visit was rushed and that her clinical skills with my child (under the age of 1) were subpar. As a worker within healthcare myself, I feel that she has room for improvement within her residency, especially when working with children. I was disappointed in the care she provided, and at this time would not recommend her to others.
