I grew progressively worse under his care
I guess when he worked at the VA he didn't really care about us veterans. He did not help, didn't listen, was stoic, and withheld info and treatment options. He told me that me symptoms were in my head and I should seek psychiatric services. This was even after bringing proof to every appointment. He was set in his ways and made me feel worse. Under his care my condition worsened. I went from simple acid reflux occasionally, to full blown GERD, gastroparesis, IBS, and CIC. By the time I left his care I ended up having rectal surgery because he dismissed my concerns. The surgeon was livid due to this being totally preventable. He was kind and helped. I spoke with the chief of gastroenterology only to discover that Bansal had withheld treatment options that could have improved my quality of life. I still suffer with all the above ailments in 2025 and he treated me over 10 years ago. His lack of care negatively impacted my life. I guess the Hippocratic Oath means nothing .
