After just over a year of getting to know Dr.Sheikh professionally; I found my previous view of competency, and warm etiquette to be misleading. My experience during appointments, was consistent, until it was not. These inconsistencies, were done in a 'roundabout' way. During my entire time with Dr.Sheikh, he did not say 'X' would occur if 'Y' or 'Z' happened to take place. As a patient, I want to trust my doctor, and I did. Dr.Sheikh spoke directly with me, during an 'off hours' urgent call in the past. When 'X' did occur it was communicated by his nurse, in a typed message. My question of why Dr.Sheikh did not tell me 'X' would happen, never took place.

Good Dr.!
Dr. Sheikh spent a lot of time with me in my initial visit. He had a very good bedside manner and paid attention to detail. I feel like I'm in good hands with him. He's very knowledgeable as well.

He is one of the best doctors I have ever been treated by. He knows what he is talking about and he will explain whatever he is treating you for so that you will understand also. He treats like a person. He has a great bedside manner. He will put you at ease. Even my wife likes him. We both trust him. He is never in too much of a hurry to talk to you and explain your problem. Never any problem with meds and refills.

Terrible experience. He tried to tell us that my daughter who was clearly having seizures was only having a panic attack and that she could control it. He didn't even glance at her information when in the room with us and was very unprofessional. He also hadn't seen what happened to her, because if he had he would have clearly known it was a seizure and not a panic attack. Will not ever be seeing him again, extremely displeased.
