Dr. Akram Zalatimo, MD

I started seeing him in January of 2023 due to my previous OBGYN retiring. He actually found an ovarian cyst I didn't even know that I had. He gave me a birth control pill brand that works better for me and now after a few months have passed my cyst is now gone. My previous OBGYN didn't do any ultrasounds. I would just go for my yearly pap smear and my birth control refill. So when he told me I had a cyst I was surprised but also it made sense as I have had pain in that area. I see him again in April 2024. I'm not as nervous when I go to my OBGYN appointments as I was in the past with previous doctors. The receptionists are nice and so is Dr. Zalatimo. I recommend him if you are someone like me who has anxiety around medical appointments.

I have more than 6 years seen dr Zaalatimo, he cure so many conditions that i have , helped me to get my menstruation regulated and after so many treatments he helped me and i get pregnant also delivered my child!! Thanks god for you as a doctor you are the best

I have been Dr. Zalatimo's patient for nearly 40 years-He is proficient, kind and personable. He always takes time to explain circumstances, and never gives the impression that you are "just a patient". Any questions you have are answered, and he is genuinely interested in bettering all women's health. Thank you for your long career.

The wait is ridiculous. Got to my appointment almost 20 minutes early and still had to wait 40 minutes after my scheduled time. By the time you get into a room you’re stuck there for another half hour before you even see the doctor. Then the doctor is in the room for a hot 10 minutes. Felt rushed after waiting so long. This is after they rescheduled me 3 times because the doctor went on vacation.

I have been going to Dr. Zalatimo for 17 years now. He has delivered all four of my high risk pregnancies. He is very thorough and takes the time to listen to his patients. Words cannot express the gratitude I have for him.

I switched over to Dr. Zalatimo in Feb 2018 and it was the best decision I ever made. I have been struggling with ovarian cysts and all my prior doctor wanted to do is put me on birth control. Not the answer I needed since I wanted to have kids! I have been given more answers with Dr. Zalatimo in the few months I have been with him than I have in the many prior years with my old doctor. He is very thorough and makes you feel comfortable. And his staff is as wonderful as he is!
