Dr. Ackermann saved my life
True story. I went to see Dr. Ackermann as a new patient on July 2023. Since I had a history of high calcium scores, he ordered a CT Coronary with Contrast. At the time, the only symptoms I had was an ocasional deep breathing difficulty when exercising. He was not happy with the results and ordered an Angiography (Catheterization). After I was in the recovery room, the doctor that performed the angiography at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, FL came to me, showed the blockages I had in my coronary arteries and said: 'By ordering this exam, Dr. Ackermann saved your life' true story. I'm now recovering from a quadruple bypass surgery. Forever grateful

I received a blood test results in November 2020. I called the office and told the office that my heart enzymes were elevated and if that was a concern. I emailed and I faxed my results to the doctors office. I never heard back from the doctors office I had an appointment January 26, 2021. I had to go to the hospital on 1/24/21. The doctor told me I was OK I ended up in the hospital three days later with cardiomyopathy. I felt like Dr. Ackerman was completely Unprepared and his exam was not very thorough. While I was in the hospital I was taken care of by his partner Dr. Pollick who in my opinion was more Competent. However when I was released from the hospital the staff person that called me was extremely condescending and arrogant. I do not know why patients have to be treated as victims by doctors.I switched cardiologist and I’m very happy.

Awesome. He’s been our family cardiology Dr. for more than 8 years. He’s an cardiology Dr. of integrity ,honesty ,caring ,kind and very professional he doesn’t rush through the appointment he listens to his patients and any area where A need to be adjusted in medication he Takes his time to explain why the changes. Dr. Ackerman makes the patient feel at ease and calm he’s very knowledge and polite and his professional. His staff is also very courtesy. The front Desk and nurse their professionalism is great, also the office is very nice and clean. I recommend this Dr.Alan Ackerman.

During this time of Covid-19, I was especially pleased to see how well prepared they were to ensure the safety of patients and employees. They immediately sanitized my hands and there was no other patients in the waiting room. I sat down and within 5 minutes I was taken to the examination room. Dr. Ackermann's assistant was fantastic. She took my vital signs and set me up for an EKG. She was professional, pleasant and efficient. She went over my medications, leaving all the information for Dr Ackermann to see. Dr. Ackermann is as fine a person as he is a doctor. He will take all the time necessary to take care of you. He is continually updating his knowledge of medications. He is the Ultimate Professional. He takes the time to actually LIsten to you. If after leaving his office, you realize you forgot to tell him something, you can easily contact him through MY Chart Messaging. I highly recommend him Dr. Ackermann to anyone seeking Professional, Competent and Friendly Healthcare.

For the past 4 years he has been my primary doctor and has been an amazing person as well as an extraordinary dr. After my ER visit, he was on top of the exams and making sure that I was ok even after everything was fine. We all need a caring dr that goes beyond just a visit

On day before Thanksgiving I called office, re: a high heart rate.I was immediately called back to come right away; Upon arrival, An EKG was performed confirming an arrhythmia. Dr. A immediately sent me to the ER where I was met within ten minutes of being prepped. He did everything to ensure that I would not have to be admitted for the holiday ensuring I was stable to be discharged.I've had many doctors and there are very few that make you feel important and special like Dr Ackerman does.

We are in the 90's year old. He treats us like his parents. So kind, so affable, compassionate always makes jokes and comments on his favorite sport teams. In times of dire need, he is always there. He is never in a hurry, has all the time to listen to your complaints. I wish all my family had him as their Cardiologist.

I WOULD RECOMMEND, DR ACKERMANN, TO START OFF I WILL QUICKLY SAY THAT HE MAKES U FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE, HE LISTENS TO WHAT U HAVE TO SAY, HE WILL EXPLAIN THE BEST OPTIONS TO TAKE, ALL BY LISTENING TO YOUR QUESTIONS, AND FEAR,S HE IS SIMPLY WONDERFUL.
