We've been seeing Dr. Davis since my son was 2 (he's 8.5 now). We've seen him as often as every 2 months when he was younger, to now every six months. He's PHENOMENAL with kids. Even with kid sister in tow, he has always made us feel comfortable in the exam room, answered all our questions and makes it an easy, painless visit for all when sometimes the news isn't what we were hoping for. We've seen one other highly recommended ophthalmologist (per Dr. Davis's request) when my son had to get seen

Dr Davis saw my son for blurred vision in one eye. He brushed it off and told us his good eye would catch up with the bad eye eventually. We have visited another ophthalmologist and they could not understand why Dr Davis said this. If caught early, my son's condition is treatable. I would not return to Dr Davis.

Dr Davis has been my son's ophthalmologist for 17 years and began caring for him when he was in kindergarten. He is kind, understanding and willing to explain what's going on with a patient's eyes in a way that's easily understood by a worried mom. Even though my son is now an adult he continues to visit Dr Davis because he trusts him and knows that Dr D knows his eyes.

I took my daughter to Dr. Davis to find out about if the atropine is option for her and ways to slow down myopia . She is 15 but has trouble to see with -6.5 diopter contact lenses. Dr Davis told my daughter that myopia is born with, has nothing to do with habits or environment or nutrition. He also said that her eyesight is only worst by -0.5 diopter since last checkup which is in Feb this year. The only option for her now is to get the correct lenses.
