Edelman did not recommend alternate solutions. He broke an instrument during surgery and left the broken piece in me. He left a 9mm long piece of the instrument in a joint. I wasn't crippled before Edelman operated on me, but I am now permanently crippled. He denied any responsibility and even said that I was not recovering because my condition was so terrible to start with. At least I walked before the surgery, and now can't.

Excellent, competent doctor and surgeon! Dr. Edelman saved my back, and kept me from becoming a parapallegic with permanent incontinence. For those patients complaining about his bedside manner, give me (and Dr. Edelman) a break. I'd rather have a doctor who knows exactly what he's doing than "Prince Charming". Dr. Edelman took the time to explain what he was seeing in my MRI, what my options were, and what the risks of surgery were. He didn't sugar coat anything and was personable enough.

Terrible bedside manner. No apathy at all! To hi., you are just a number, another patient. I was crying to himake, begging him for help because I was in so much pain but he couldn't care less. He was sarcastic, and very clinical in his questions. Apparently, he does the same with his other patients. My uncle complained of the same thing about him.

Dr Edelman is a wonderful surgeon. He took exceptional care of my mother. He was knowledgable and she is walking and has her life back. We are so grateful for dr Edelman!
