Being new to VA we needed an Eye Doctor. The technician took my history but the doctor never asked anything about my family history of macular degeneration or the brain tumor that affected my optic nerve. He made small talk when he entered the room. Looked at my eyes with a bright light. Never used a headlamp or prisms or had me stare at a grid to check for macular. Exam was probably three minutes if that. At 72 years old this doctor is not for me!

Dr. Egge has been my ophthalmologist for many years. He is experienced, patient and very astute in diagnosing and treating any problem. I have recommended both friends and family to his practice.
