Go somewhere else
He was good 20 years ago and came highly recommended. Even moving out of area we drove to see him 2 hours. Had a crisis and was abruptly dismissed from practice instead of being there when truly needed.

Very unprofessional!
I only can share my experience with his office.I called to make an appointment and woman who answer the call asked me: appointment what for? and after I answer she said but if you need medication for that he won't proscribe. What is this? How can you treat patient like that?Unbelievable!

Completely burnt out!! Drops patients if you question any of his patient care decisions. Was an established patient for over 5 years and dropped me after the only time I’ve ever reached out during a time of crisis. Has a habit of doing so, check his reviews. Go to a doctor who actually cares.

Would you buy shoes with a 38% 'don't buy' rating
Telehealth
I would give Feldman less than one star if it were possible. He fired my son after treating him for 6 years because my son refused to get TMS therapy that he suggested. Apparently, our experience is pretty common, question him or ask for an alternative treatement and he freaks out. By the way he didn't have the nerve to tell us himself, he had his office help call to tell us. He also is virtually always late in his appointments, a wait of an hour is pretty typical.

'Fired' Me
I was a dedicated patient and big fan of Dr. Feldman until I wasn't. I saw himregularly for a couple of years or so and was very satisfied during a very difficult time in my life until the day he completely abandoned me. Dr. Feldman was monitoring me (supposed to anyway) as i was being weaned off a medication. Monitoring was required due to potential adverse side effects. I ended up in crisis. Dr. Feldman recommended a treatment I could not afford, so I tried to talk to him about other options. He blew a gasket!!! All of a sudden and out of nowhere I was a horrible patient who always questioned him, didn't follow treatment plan, and on and on he went. None of this was true. In fact, we had a great doctor-patient relationship prior to this incident. In a nutshell, Dr. Feldman yelled, degraded, literally fired me as his patient, and walked out abandoning me as I cried uncontrollably. I was in crisis. He left me to drive home in this condition. I never saw him again. Don't question him?

Great doctor!!
I have been going to Dr Feldman for 20 years. He is companionate, friendly and he does not judge you. He is very understanding and meets you're needs. He has become a friend who cares. Very smart man also. My life has changed because of him. The meds he gives me work and I would be lost without them and him. 5 stars to this man.

Awful. Has ruined my life
Going to Dr Feldman was great until it wasn’t. I had been seeing him for a few years and he seemed to care. I really had no complaints other than some rude office staff. Fast forward to when I had an adverse reaction to a prescription sleep medication which landed me in the hospital. It was the most traumatic experience of my life and of no fault of my own. Feldman said would not prescribe me controlled substances and would see me in a week to reassess. I had a scheduled appointment with another specialist that insisted I be on one of the previous medications I was on through Feldman. I explained the whole situation to my other Dr and he stated he would prescribe it and take over the care. I even called Feldman’s office to alert them that this doctor was prescribing it and assure them I was not doctor shopping. Next thing I know I get a call stating I was referred to a state program and had been reported as an impaired nurse! I called the office was yelled at and accused of overdose.

Feldman doesn't listen, zooms through appts.,
At my first visit, I saw a physician assistant or APRN, not sure. She was very thorough and listened to me. After that, each visit was a 2-minute, "Still the same?" kind of visit with Dr. Feldman. Absolutely zero care about me, any changes that may have come up, or concerns I might have. No offers of behavior modification, nor psychiatric help. Just refill on medication, without any regard to evaluating efficacy or dosage. These 2-minute visits were after waiting over an hour after the appt time, sometimes as much as two hours. Jam-packed waiting room; people are shuffled through like cattle. And honestly, he is downright CREEPY. The way he holds this fake smile the entire time, he looks and acts like a clown in a horror movie. The last time I went, I had waited more than 2 hours past my appt. time to see him, and when he came in I was so uncomfortable being around him, I decided I'd never go back. The absolute worst experience.

The wait time was like an airline delay.
Setting the tone from the beginning Dr Feldman was almost 90 minutes late for our call. Never offered any kind of apology, not even a perfunctory mention. The intake evaluation was something I could have done. I can think of no other words than lazy. I can't count how many times he said "cool" to respond to my background information. This isn't my first rodeo, having had a lot of experience prior. I just moved here and wanted to establish a relationship to monitor meds, etc. He just kept asking about the milligrams of a particular medication, which every doctor I've seen here had this information. I offered my present concerns and offered no response, which was why I was there in the first place. I shouldn't have canceled my physical therapy appt, but I guess his time was more important than mine.

Definitely staying with this doctor
Over the years I have been a patient with several psychiatrists. Dr Feldman is one of the best. I have never seen a psychiatrist who doesn't run behind on appointment times so I expect it He has treated me with respect and understanding. Yes, there have been a time or two where I get frustrated with his office or appointment times but I believe in most of those cases it has been my mental place that expects unrealistic things. I will continue to see Dr Feldman as long as he stays in the area.

First appointment
First appointment and it was tele-health. I expected it to be somewhat emotionless and flat bc it seemed a fairly impersonal start of a truly "personal" relationship but was HUGELY surprised! Dr. Feldman started by greeting me with warmth, asked me what brought me to him and just let me talk. He was very attentive and even physically interested, leaning forward to listen while taking notes simultaneously, asked relevant and pointed questions, discussed previous treatments in great detail and suggested, what I believe, is an awesome game plan. I am so grateful to have found someone who actually takes the time to HEAR me and I truly look forward to becoming a better "me" with his help.
