I used to like him, but not anymore. He's been my rheumatologist for years, but now that he's ready to retire, he didn't care about me. I'm in an abusive relationship and he refused to report it to social services leaving me at the hands of an abuser. Yeah, I'm pretty upset about that. That shouldn't happen. I'm handicap btw.

I am so grateful for Dr Fishman. I had been avoiding going to any doctors after a horrible experience and was referred to him by someone I really trusted. Thank goodness I went! He is SO kind, patient, thorough and diligent. He initiated coordination of care with other specialists I needed to see. They were also wonderful! He responds quickly when emailed and even called to check on me a few times when I was really sick. This is how it should be when you see a doctor. I have never been easy to diagnose since my bloodwork is always borderline and/or changes frequently. Dr Fishman is the first doctor I’ve seen who acknowledges that physical presentation of symptoms are just as important. He has helped me more in a few visits than years of going to other doctors. I don’t know what I’ll do without him when he retires!
