Dr. Alan Glombicki, MD

Dr. Glombicki saved my life after another inexperienced doc left me little hope. God was watching over me when I found Glombicki. Very experienced and knowledgable. Best bedside Manner and never minds explaining anything. Makes sure you understand best he can. Very compassionate. I will never see another doctor for my condition as long as he is still practicing medacine. He is the absolute best. The office help leave a lot to be desired but Dr. Glombicki is the best doctor ever.

This was by far the strangest encounter I've ever experienced with a health professional. The office staff is awful, the wait time is terrible, and they lost my blood test results. He is a good doctor but it's not worth all of the extra stress. They need a new office staff that knows what they're doing.

Dr. Allen Paul Glombicki is is by far the worst doctor I have ever encountered. He's inconsiderate, unprofessional and out of touch with reality. Consider yourself warned about this GI doctor.

Bad guy

I arrived at 9:15 am for a 9:20 am appointment, signed in and they recorded my arrival. Between 9:30 and 9:45 the employees that work in the back came through the weighing room. By 10:15 no one had been called to see the doctor and there were no available seats for patients. At 10:30 people were having to stand around with no social distancing, and still no one had been called in to see the doctor. I got up and left. Normal wait time is at least 1 hour.

Put me totally at ease as soon as we met! Listened to me, said what he could do and explained my procedures thoroughly. I totally recommend him.

Yes the wait time sucks but this is an amazing doctor in that when you do see him he listens to every word you have to say.....never cuts you short or makes you feel hurried or rushes away .....so in that don't expect him to rush away from previous patient to get to you.......he is a truly caring specialist and doesn't run an assembly line.......in his profession there are emergencies and he most certainly will take those first so take that in mind while you are waiting........would you want to be cut short?......so entertain yourself and wait ....take the time to slow down relax and enjoy being with yourself for this small moment in time of waiting for him.

Greatest Doctor for Hep C and liver care compassionate time spent well and knowlegeable. Saved my life

Great Dr. - explained everything about what he would do during my procedure, and made me feel comfortable. Office staff could be a little more compassionate & patient.

We have been very impressed by the professionalism shown by Dr. Glombicki. Is evident that he took time to review several labs tests i brought and to inquire about the condition/history. He also took the time to explain how the liver works and the possible explanations (hypotheses) for the observed symptoms. The followed with a discussion of the prescribed tests. When the results were ready he took time again to review those that were out of range or border line.

I never even got to see him. The Southwest Freeway location office was trashy, TV blaring, pieces of paper in different languages taped up, no one greeted me, Dr. had not even arrived and I would have a 1-2 hour wait?!?

I have mixed opinions about Dr Glombicki. While he might be very good at diagnosis and even his staff is very good and helpful, the MOST ANNOYING thing is the wait time. Better come with a bucket of popcorn and a couple of movies on your laptop if you are waiting for his appointment. Extremely unprofessional I would say, since I have had to wait 2 hours or more for each and everyone of his appointment. He is just NEVER on time. My endoscopy also had a wait time of 3 plus hours!!

Up until this point in my life (42) I have had literally zero health issues. So when I was told my liver enzymes were very high, I immediately assumed the worse. I researched doctors and found the BEST that Houston has to offer. He has an amazing bedside manner and makes absolutely sure that you completely understand what is wrong and how he will treat it. Down to earth and kind and simply an amazing doctor. I am so blessed to have found him. Simply the best in the Biz here in Houston.

He is extremely rare in being so kind, compassionate, dedicated to the patient,and well educated! Go now if you have any HCV concerns. He knows what he is talking about and saved my life while friends stopped dead and had transplants all around me.

Dr. Glombicki is extremely knowledgeable and considerate, straight forward and no bull, overall excellent!

Amazing Doctor. Worth the wait since he gives the time each patient needs. He is always there when you have an emergency. Quick to schedule necessary procedures. Really cares about his patients. Only doctor I could find when I was pregnant with GI (gall bladder, liver, and pancreas) issues to not be scared to care for my needs. I have been with him ever since. Now my family and friends see him.
