Dr. Gorn has been my doctor for over 16 years. He is professional, compassionate, so very knowledgeable and the best doctor by far that I have had as a patient battling a sleuth of autoimmune disorders for over 24 years. He has always fought for me and I can never thank him enough. Thank You Dr. Gorn, you’re the best. Sincerely, Yvette Cesario-Smith

I had seen many rheumatologists looking for a diagnosis for my symptoms. After 2 years of searching, I finally booked an appointment with Dr. Gorn. My first appointment was about an hour long- I have never had a more attentive doctor. He was able to determine my diagnosis and put me on a treatment plan. He is extremely kind, you never feel rushed with him, and he really listens and explains what he wants to do. We’ve had to adjust my medications overtime, but I feel confident in my plan with Dr. Gorn.

Dr. Gorn's diagnosis was a surprise, startling actually, and very very sobering – and it was incredibly incisive, and accurate. Had I not been so very fortunate to come into his care, I think my afflictions would surely have progressed, to my great detriment. I owe my physical well-being and eyesight to his diagnosis and treatment plan. Gratitude beyond words.

Awful !!! Dr. Born and his staff are completely unprofessional. Three times my appointments have been cancelled and once while I was actually sitting inside his office without any explanation . I had been waiting for the appointment for months , and then proceeded to tell me that they would call to reschedule at my convenience and as a priority which was a complete lie . It took them a week to call and when they did they scheduled a appointment and when I showed up they said I didn’t have an appointment and then tried to pass me to another doctor to for 5 minutes appointment. He gave me a new prescription in that 5 minutes to take and told me dr.gorn would see me in two months . Today the office called to cancel my appointment for December. How can you prescribe a new medication and then cancel a follow up appointment. !?! Word of advice , see another doctor and UCLA should not allow such a unprofessional doctor to work under their name .

Dr. A. Gorn is calm, asks good questions, really listens and makes good suggestions. He is not stuck on one or two medications, he wants what each person needs for pain relief so he offers choices. I feel very lucky to have such a good doctor on my team!!!!!

This doctor: 1. Fails to advocate for patients ( other doctors, when going through difficult health situations, in infusion center) 2. Has a consistent pattern of canceling patient appointments 3. Has pt appointments that start at 8:20 am and he’s not in the office at 8:20... he’s late. You’ll be dealing with always waiting if you choose this doctor. 4. His assistant is unkind, rude, and does not help with things assistants at other offices assist with. You will often hear” I don’t do tha

Not a nice provider- cancels, temper, you can’t count on your scheduled appointment- this office always cancels. Provider shows up 40 min after his first scheduled appointment. Infusion nurses complain that he doesn’t check his email. His assistant says he doesn’t check his email. Doesn’t collaborate with other specialist. Find another provider- one with a nice assistant- they are out there. Not sure what the problem is here but it’s not for the patient to figure out. Be professional.
